First a 80’s Norwegian heavy metal band which evolved more to mainstream hard-rock much turned to radio sound. Voice and guitar were extremely good. Scandinavia produced great Hard’n’Heavy bands such as TNT, Europe and Pretty Maids.
TNT has such a vast library that starts in the 80s and goes through the 2000s. Tony Harnell still has a great voice and has band with TNT, Westworld, Love killers and Starbreaker and some solo projects. I think the best songs are actually from Starbreaker. If you ever want to check an album all the Way through, check out Starbreaker "Love's dying wish. Everything's great on it. But then again, all his music with all these different groups is phenomenal, especially if you like hard melodic metal. Also, Ronnie Lee Tekro is definitely underrated. This band it's not as recognized here in the US, but in the Scandinavian countries they are idols.
If you want to hear one or two TNT tracks that will blow your minds...Forever Shine On and Incipits/Tell No Tales which has some of the most insane vocals ever committed to tape.
You should absolutely react to some Saraya, as they sound pretty similar to some of the bands you reacted to in the past. They were a female led band from New Jersey who were around at around the same time as the aforementioned artists but unfortunately were nowhere near as lucky to receive the same attention, as they only lasted around 5 years together and disbanded in the early 90s (casualty of the changing of the guard in rock, one of the most undeserving if you ask me, as Sandi Saraya (the titular singer), Tony Bruno (guitarist), Gregg Munier (keyboardist), Gary Taylor/Barry Dunaway (bassists) and especially Chuck Bonfante (terrific drummer especially for the music they play) were extremely talented musicians with a knack for S-tier songwriting and musicianship, as well as thoughtful and deep lyrics for glam metal/80s hard rock standards. This is to me especially showcased in their masterful 1991 sophomore and final album When the Blackbird Sings, arguably one of my all-time favorite albums. Here are a few requests of their catalogue: Love Has Taken Its Toll Gypsy Child Runnin' Out of Time Back to the Bullet Drop the Bomb Queen of Sheba Hitchin' a Ride Seducer When the Blackbird Sings In the Shade of the Sun New World (scarily relevant ballad, especially these days) Hope you react to at least a few of these tunes in the future!
TNT not super popular but that doesn’t mean they weren’t good! Lot of things have to line up for that to happen as you can imagine. My favorite from them is Intuition, cool ass song!
Tony is a fantastic vocalist! Still sounds great today. Ronnie Le Tekro had a great sound/tone on guitar as well. They just flew under the radar. I loved their sound though. Check out Indian Summer or As Far As The Eye Can See.
wow, tnt…. check out Everyones a Star or 10,000 Lovers . much more rocking. Pretty sure they are Dutch . Couple hits in the 80’s . Ronnie on guitar was a beast.
You guys would love Survivor, Rick Springfield, Loverboy, Toto, Stan Bush, Damn Yankees, Styx, Kenny Loggins, the Tubes, Night Ranger, Pat Benatar, Eddie Money, Billy Squier, and Michael Sembello
The Whole Intuition album is fantastic. I got it on vinyl. This song is their best
Tony Harnell is one of the greatest singers of all time and one of the most under rated. Absolutely insane vocal range.
And his is still awesome.
I meant his voice is still awesome.

"Seven Seas" is my favourite. "Everyone's a Star" is pretty good also.
Eddie is one of my favorites
Those are my favorite too. I only got to see them once opening for Stryper in Concord,CA.

Le Tekro is the best from his era. The stacking, technique, right hand speed and left hand strength that Ronni possess are second to none.

Tony Harnell and Ronnie Le Tekro are legends!!
Ha! I hung out with them when they played at the bar I worked at in late 80’s. They were definitely underrated. Check out 10,000 Lovers In One!
TNT not super popular but that doesn’t mean they weren’t good! Lot of things have to line up for that to happen as you can imagine. My favorite from them is Intuition, cool ass song!
Joe Lynn Turner doing backing vocals.😍

10,000 lovers is a great song by TNT. They were not popular, though. And that's a shame because they were a good band.
