Happy Birthday Bhante, just think' you gave this great dhamma talk 7 years ago, you were such a young man then 😀. May you live long an find every awakening, from post sleep to dhamma blessings, happy and joyous. Peace 🙏
It is not easy to explain nimitta or to understand what nimitta is without experiencing it. Until I experienced it, I realised what it meant to see with the mind and not with the eye; what it meant that the body disappear and hearing and senses stopped.
I experienced it 5 years ago. It felt like I stopped breathing and a bright light illuminated inside me. I freaked out at first cause I thought I had died. After calming myself, I realised just how beautiful it was. The most life-changing experience ever. Yes it is impossible to describe, one has to experience it to realise its true magnificence.
Ahahn Brahm has a great sense of humor. Quite subtle really. It takes some time to get it. But you laugh for days afterwards whenever you recall it.
