    Good evening,
I have prostatitis, my biggest issue is Nocturia, day time I’m really good, but night time is terrible! Once I lay down it starts!
I could wake up 10 times a night, it’s killing me slowly!

Hello Dr thank you very much for posting such informative information. My prostate is 53 grams and I am scheduled for a Urolift in 28 days. I have had a catheter for 3 months.(went under anesthesia for 24 hours and upon awakening was unable to void bladder.) My Urologist only offers Urolift or removal of the prostate.
My query is in your professional opinion would you recommend a different procedure such as rezum/itind? Thank you 🙏🏼

If the can put a stint in the heart why not the same for the prostate?

Because of the potential to form stones when urine is in contact with a foreign body for a prolonged period of time.

Urolift lasted for only two years but then the urgency returned. Tried to talk to Urolift but they refused to talk to me.

Hi and thx for your comment. In my opinion there is a specific group of men with certain prostate characteristics that get the greatest benefit from UroLift. The larger and more complex shape the less durable the improvement. Hope u r doing ok👌🏻

Looks to me like only the guys with horror stories provide comments.

Hi Monu have you tried medication? This would certainly be my first recommendation before a BNI

I had this done a month ago. I wish I never did it. Horrible pain, with nearly complete urinary blockage a day after the procedure. Had to have a catheter for a week. So far little to no improvement. The end of my urethra has been scarred so it’s like I now have a lawn sprinkler for a penis….pee sprays everywhere. Looks like I’m stuck sitting down to pee for the rest of my life. It is very depressing.

Hi John thx for sharing your experience. You should touch base with your urologist to get things checked out. Good luck

Is there any possibility that the implant may break and get stuck in urethra if a person performs exercises after the operation ???

Does this procedure cause infertility if a younger man under 45 have to get it done?
