Hey Andrew! Great vid! Next time you’re in the Northern Michigan area, you need to check out Traverse Bay resort, just outside of Traverse City. A very beautiful resort that’s close to a lot of cool things to do and see.
I'm surprised you didn't mention Fun Valley RV resort in South Fork, CO. It's not far from Pagosa Springs and about 30 miles south of Crede. Its's for all types of RVs, but very family friendly with lots of activities right in the park. Definitely a good place to beat the heat.
Thanks for this video. Agree there are many places in the Rockies for the summer RVer. Check out the Twin Lakes area around Leadville Colorado for a great destination in the summer.
Swan Bay in Alexandria Bay, NY is right on the St. Lawrence river is a nice resort. Several festivals in Alex Bay during the end of summer. Grocery store right next to the resort, making it very convenient to walk over to.
Nice work Andrew! I might add one RV resort on the central California coast- Ocean Mesa RV resort. It's now a Sun RV Resort, but still one of my go-to spots in the Santa Barbara area.
Great info with the exception of Camp Land by the Bay, its is a S-hole now. So unless you enjoy dirty, over crowded wild party time then it might be for you.
Hi Andrew, I'm Ken from Japan, May I ask you a question? What is the difference between an RV park, an RV resort, and a Coach resort? Is there a clear definition? For example, is it a difference in size or equipment? There are only tiny RV parks in Japan. I would love to go to the huge resorts that appear in your videos!
An RV resort should be upscale with amities such as pools, maybe sports courts, trash pickup, definitely nice laundry rooms & restrooms and everything should be clean and up to date. It’s like describing something as Luxury-depends on interpretation of luxury. Plus any other things that a large site fee should include. Luxury. An RV Park doesn’t promise anything except probably hookups. BUT, we have gone to many Resorts that in reality are just parks. Check the RV ‘resort’ carefully. The main way that you know it’s a Resort is the price; expensive.
Do you know the name of Brad’s RV Park in Kentucky? I was very close to buying it myself but hey ho he beet me to it 😉 Thank you for the interesting recommendations 😊💫
Hey Andrew, I am a subscriber and I watch your channel regularly. I have come to trust your commentary. You’re always touting Hearthside Grove. So as part of our trip this summer we decided to stay at Hearthside Grove in Petoskey Michigan. It is now July 27, 2023. What a disappointment. We are in the conifer section. While there are certainly gorgeous sites and RVs here, the people with the multi million dollar rigs are staying in those. By the way, we have a 2020 Dutch star so we are not slumming. They stuck us and our traveling companions in the crap area and it is not the experience that you are talking about on your channel. No shade no trees no fire pit, no no nothing. We back to a noisy commercial trucking-storage area and construction. In fairness the people at Hearthside are trying to make it right recognizing that the pictures of the site they showed us were not the site we got, but that’s not the point. Once the damage is done, it’s done. You are always talking about transparency so I thought this was important.
Agree totally on this comment. We went to Petowski last month on Andrews recommendation and were in the new section. Nothing special at all. Would have been better off at Sun Outdoors or KOA. I think at this point all of Andrews recommendation are paid, so they all have to be taken with a grain of salt.

Hilton Head National rv and golf resort in Beaufort SC just off the island is awesome. Adult only and Family sections. Golf 100 yds away.

Alpine Valley RV resort is a newer resort but well worth it and can handle large class A rv’s. This resort is in Alpine Wyoming, a beautiful area.
Only ssue is how skinny the pads are. They made a mistake with that decision.
A few you missed
1. Traverse Bay RV Resort - Traverse City
2. Normandy Farms - Foxboro, MA ( a must visit for every RVer )
Lower Michigan along Lake Michigan has a lot of great resorts!
Swan Bay in Alexandria Bay, NY is right on the St. Lawrence river is a nice resort. Several festivals in Alex Bay during the end of summer. Grocery store right next to the resort, making it very convenient to walk over to.
Camp land on the bay is somewhere my family went a lot as a kid. Great place a lot of fun stuff for youth
Nice work Andrew!

Westbay Acadia RV Resort in Maine. Stunning location on the Schoodic Peninsula.
I think Costa Vista in Chula Vista (San Diego) California is now Sun Outdoors.
Polson is just north of Arizona??? Like through Utah and Wyoming? Gezz, how far is ‘just up the road’?
Great info with the exception of Camp Land by the Bay, its is a S-hole now. So unless you enjoy dirty, over crowded wild party time then it might be for you.
Agreed. Sun Outdoors in Chula Vista is the place to be in San Diego
