Always watching these on the bus and getting the pob from the forum link (since it’s also not an actual link, which is my main gripe with getting it cause text selection sucks on phones) is such a hassle yet here I am doing it every damn time cause I can’t NOT look at that beauty of a build. Understand the reasoning behind not wanting to update pobs in several videos tho.
Let's be real, "PoE 1" is literally "PoE 3" and 3.25 at that, so PoE 2 is effectively going backwards. And PoE 2.0 gameplay was a lot like what PoE 2 promised so far.
1:11 as a Ziggurat farmer from the start of the league, I would like to write some notes about this. When Catarina teleports and raises first of the mini bosses, that mini boss has a channeling skill that makes laser beam goes around the arena. You can bypass it by one shotting them or freezing them. You don't need to freeze or one shot other mini bosses because they don't have that channeling laser skill. Just first mini boss is important. Also reducing action speed (chill, temporal chains, etc) makes first mini boss' channeling skill goes around slower. I don't know if stun works or not.
Wonder if Glacial Hammer of Shattering stacking some crit multi would feel amazing with Frozen legion and some extra phys conversion. Being Stationary isn't super safe, but Arctic Armour and Kaom's Binding could probably mitigate a ton of damage while attacking.
Thoughts on jumping through hoops and using a Rational Doctrine? Profane Ground might ease the burden on stacking crit, though you'd need to tattoo away some of your strength. Sadly, the strength aspect of the jewel is negated by the Inquisitor nodes you take, but that just means you don't have to try to get the same number for both.
Been farming some 5-way legion with this and I cant stop playing the league. Swapped out the belt for headhunter. Have volcanic fissure with enhance instead of frozen legion to offscreen bosses.
What about using Heatshiver along with the mace mastery for all damage chills? You'd probably hit max chill on everything and looking at the effectiveness of added damage for frozen legion, that fire damage from heatshiver would be big I think. You'd lose a lot of armour though since you couldn't use that es/armour mastery.
It kinda does work with damage effectiveness. It goes flat => boosted by damage effectiveness and all the more and increased => all of that then gets X% damage as extra. Heatshiver is kind of bad for this build which has 120% of phys as extra ele, and maxxed heatshiver is only 60% which is the same step in calculation, so the increase is not that big. Edit: the build also uses hatred which is also phys as extra ele, so heatshiver is even worse in comparison.
@@Mathilification I've been burning currency this last week trying to get the mace but for endurance charge stacking general's cry (+1 max endurance, warcry cooldown recovery influence mods) but recombinating the phys prefixes has been painful, very, just need the merciless roll and i'm done. During that time I thought autoexertion gen's cry + frozen legion would be a good combo, nice seeing frozen legion works wel for this kind of 1-big-hit builds :D
Slayer is the standard way to build melee and arguably the strongest outside of EE trickster. Pretty standard to annoint frentic (+1 frenzy) and dump all points around the bottom of the tree. You end up with 7 frenzy and endurance charges and you take it from there.
@@bryceshimer557 I used headhunter for fun. Personally I think you get more out of Mageblood defense wise and brutal charges offensive wise. Going for brutal charges means you are stuck with ralakesh, which means you are stuck with the chest that give you movements speed/endurance charge - if you dont want to be a snail
@@bole5113 with ralakesh you have both. You still need to generate endurance charges for the brutal charges to work. Normal endurance effect you always have at max because of boots.
Damn... nice build, could give it a try if it wasn't another Cyclone-based set-up. Why so many cool builds have to be centered around cyclone? It's been meta since ancient times. I think mamba is still the king, cause of Trickster's zooming and survi, and Bino's clear.
You can play every Shockwave build on every melee skill that can be supported by shockwave. Cyclone is just used because it feels good. If you want to play this build, try static strike, feels good as well and has about 10% more dps.
bro your build and passive tree are all wrong, don't worry just follow these quick tips: get POB community fork, get awakened trade, get filterbloob's loot filter and filter out all T4 unique base types, all rares except plumber's wands, valdo's orbs, every 2nd portal of wisdom and awakened vaal shards. get jizzaran's EA RF BF/BB CI impale crit witch because it's 28% and better than the yellow one that gives you three. when you hit level 9 1/2, you get a bauble of regret but don't spend it until you hit level 48 when you fight Atzaro in the Mire of Absolute And Total Apathy corrupted with 3 stones, not 4 which is a common noob trap imo. once you've farmed 150 fragments of zana (should only take ~40 hours) recombombinate using heist equipped with a 6/6 labyrinth and make it glow purple but not light purple bc that instakills your char unless you have capped spell nullification (which is a completely different stat than spell nullification, remember to read the gem tag!) dw we all make that mistake lol after that you should be level Y and ready to respec into fartass's DW Molten Shit Max Block Instaleech Warcry Automated Cast when Stunned autobomber champion. you can stay with EA RF BF/BB CI Impale crit witch but youll hit a hard wall at red alvas. Don't respec until you have exactly 24.3537785% chance to ignite on your main off-foot ability which as you may recall drops from the blood emperor at a 0.03% rate so its deteministically target farmable at which point you can use harvest reforge corruption to turn your essence of atzoatl into orbs of recantation (abt 5,000 tries on average so not bad) then auto-spam azurite until you hit 2 open prefixes, lock mana and yolo exalt. now note that your DW Molten Shit Max Block Instaleech Warcry Automated Cast when Stunned autobomber champion struggles in delve temples until you have 65MMM DPS and can instaphase Chris Wilson. DW scales off area of effect so make sure you invest heavily into skill effect duration and bake at 350 for 2 hours (remember, read the gem tags). if you're zdps check the jelqs tab in pob and make sure your chance to shit is 101%, even 1% off is like a 20% more dps loss especially if you're going svalinn cold conversion. if you're still having problems with dps look at poegaiden and just click the brown one to show all builds that have infused frost orbs for ideas. if you noticed, frenzy charge stacking is an efficient way to scale powered charge armour and jizzaran clearly explains in his FAQs that you need at least 5 imbued shards of contempt to conquer Gianna. as a noob you probably want to stick to 30div/hr strats like empowered atlas obelisk into red harvests money making has never been easier in this game so nobody has an excuse to be broke anymore, just run content you find fun except grand hunts, hassles, forged demons, nihilistic anteaters and ghosted wisps. Veiled decanters used to be good but GGG nerfed them in 3.3.15.8.34.852b because they were too loud (fun police amirite) anyway once you have Vinderi in Research you can start target farming enchanted apples to upgrade every rubbery widget that has dropped for you - you have been looting every rubbery widget, right? anyway onto defense, so its super easy you just stack arvasion until you have five, socket four links into your belt and you need aura of indifference on your boots. think layers layers layers. 100% spell nullification, suppressed attacks and 90% chance to dodge are mandatory imo ever since GGG introduced actual toxic gas that emanates from your psu when farming legion 4 ways on a timer. Added damage effectiveness only works for flat damage. Percentage is static. To my knowledge.
