    Our Tail Tidy kit provides a way to eliminate the bulky stock fender and create a sleek and finished look that is far better than stock. We have taken the time to meticulously design and develop components that are unsurpassed in fit, style, and function. Our exclusive Undertail Closeout perfectly matches the lines of the Z400. It provides a mounting base for the adjustable angle license plate bracket while closing off the trunk area from water and debris. Please follow the link above to access more information and photos of this kit installed on the bike.

    Couldn't you have designed it so it didn't require chopping up the oem undertray?

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  9 днів тому

      @@seanylewl yes but then the primary goal of this design would be violated. These are supposed to make the whole tail section look sleek, sporty, and sexy. Designing it with a hump to house a purposeless tab kills the look our customers want.

    So can I not put your aftermarket license plate light on with this fender eliminator? How are we supposed to have lights for that with this?

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  3 місяці тому

      You can absolutely use our license plate light with this kit.

      @@joshuasteoger5624 our undertail closeout has a hole in the center to route wires for signals or a license plate light.

      Bart needs a few clones to take care of all his responsibilities around here.

    Too bad you guys don't make a version that allow the use of the OEM flashers like some other companies do. Not everyone wants turn signals integrated into the rear tail light or are happy with the OEM lights but just want a little clean-up in the back to remove the fender.

      We do have several options available in this area. We sell a pod signal mounting kit that can remount your OE signals and is compatible with our fender eliminators. We actually made a video showing the installation on a Ninja 400 which uses all the same installation steps for all the parts on the tail area. We also offer different LED pod signals to go with that kit if you ever decide to discontinue using the OE signals. That way you are all set in case you will be changing that. In addition we offer Y-splitter harnesses that split the rear signals into two parallel circuits, all plug and play. This way if you want to use integrated tail light and some king of external signals (even OEM) then you can run those in parallel with just plugging them in.

      Te tail light is in the tail fairings, right above the area we are working on in this video. Perhaps you are talking about the license plate light. In this case it is evident that you did not pay attention to the presentation in the video ua-cam.com/video/949XcmmqhBc/v-deo.html

    Pretty sure this fender eliminator is illegal in most (if not all) states. No white light illuminating the plate.

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  4 роки тому +1

      That's additional. We find more often than not, customers do not purchase a license plate light. Laws change from state to state so we make our products modular so you only pay for exactly what you need.
