    🚀You probably already know that while in vertex mode, selecting a vertex and pressing V "rips" the vertex apart, allowing you to detach and move it. But holding Alt + V (known as "rip fill") does the same thing, but the difference being that as you move the ripped vertex, there is no hole left behind in the mesh! Blender automatically fills it as you move the vertex around!

    When using imperial units you don’t have to type the words. The standard abbreviation for feet is ‘ and for inches is “. Blender recognizes them (of course)!

    • @KaizenTutorials

    • @Lqvy1

      @@KaizenTutorials You can use alt+d to duplicate, which changes it to where to edit 1 they both change. However if you do a normal duplicate and have 2 objects you can ctrl+l Link Object Data which does the same thing but after the fact. This make it to where when you edit 1 object, everything within the Linked Object Data will look the same. Its essentially like using an array or a mirror but for objects in various locations in the scene. Ex. being i've primarily used it for windows in buildings if i want to edit the windows later.

      Blender’s underlying data structure is the best possible thing you can learn about. Not only can mesh data be shared but pretty much anything else including animation data, camera, lights, or even entire scenes.
      I remember when I first understood that in Blender, the ‘composition’ (to make an After Effects comparison) i.e scene is not fundamental, but rather the objects and data are. in other words an object can exist in multiple scenes, and it is not just a copy of the object but the very same object, it was pretty mind blowing.

    What sucks beyond just being taught imperial from the ground-up is that you have to learn metric anyway.
    Cars built in the states have both imperial and metric nuts and bolts, which is SUPER FUN.
    Lots of building materials are technically measured in metric, but metric measurements always appear secondary on all of our measurement tools.
    Most of us who do any kind of "work" here know the struggle. lol
    It's awful sometimes.

    • @KaizenTutorials
      @KaizenTutorials  Рік тому

      Yeah, I can only imagine. I was watching this video on arbitrary imperial unit sizes and there's absolutely tons of them and they're all so confusing. Metric just makes more sense in my opinion! Hopefully with the globalization of the world, eventually, the USA will switch to Metric aswell.

      @@KaizenTutorials We tried to switch once, it didn't go well. That was my favorite tip though, I think in imperial so I either switch to imperial or google a conversion. This tip will make it slightly less burdensom to be an American

    • @Puckerization
      @Puckerization Рік тому +1

      @@rendermoore The thing is, you already think in metric when you deal with money. Metric is a form of decimalization which is hard-wired into any American. The UK pre 1971 did not have a decimalized currency and was even more convoluted than the Imperial measurement system. Out of 195 countries in the world, only 3 use Imperial (USA, Myanmar, and Liberia) although metric being official in the UK, people still use Volume in Imperial.

    hi 1 ask : exist a way to update the materials wich usb "mix rgb" to the new "Mix" in automatic or this to be made one by one manually? thx

    • @KaizenTutorials
      @KaizenTutorials  Рік тому +1

      I'm not sure if that's possible, but I'm afraid it has to be done manually... the old nodes (MixRGB) still work though, so it isn't necessary to replace them. You just can't add them anymore in new projects.

      Technically, it’s the “active” object. That is usually the last-selected one, but only if you select objects by clicking them. Remember, there are other ways to select.

    How i create vibrating object on a certain frame in blender.

    • @KaizenTutorials
      @KaizenTutorials  Рік тому

      Vibrating? You can animate the location of an object to 'vibrate'. Easiest is take an object, go to the desired point in the animation, add a location keyframe, change the timeline window to be the graph editor and select the keyframe you just added there (a line). Now open the right side menu with N and go to generators > noise. Tweak the settings and you should have a vibrating object!
