Bale, James Rodrigues, Coutinho, Hazard, Gotze, etc, a lot of players failed to performe in high level after getting injured multiple times. It takes a lot of motivation and dedication to go through the painful treatment, slander from the media, fails, and still come back to play.

My opinion neymar's biggest weakness is his temper. Doesn't take much to get under his skin. But he's got everything else skills dribbling passing and shooting with both feet speed high iq. He's got everything. Left Barcelona way too early then the injuries just piled up on him. Love yall reaction can tell you guys are understanding and appreciating the game of football even more now.
I don't care what anybody say but Prime Neymar was his last season at Barcelona until the first season at PSG before his ankle injury. A lot of people say 2014/2015 at Barcelona just because he won the champions league that year but that Neymar is not even close to the prime Neymar that I mentioned previously. He added a lot to his game during those years and people forget that after that season where he won the champions league his role at Barcelona changed and he had to go back in defense to help his team but it wasn't the case for Messi and Suarez

Neymar biggest weakness is the fact that he became so injury prone. He never got to play a full season without notable injuries once he reached his mid-20s. People act like he failed at PSG but I actually think he played his best football there. He just picked up so many injuries but the moments he could play injury-free, he was often better then Messi and Mbappe.

He was great but Messi was simply better. Messi had 58 goals and 31 assists, Neymar had 39 goals and 11 assists. And Messi was more crucial, he saved them against Bayern, he was the motm against City with a stellar performance that only lacked a goal, even Guardiola was flabbergasted. He played well in the final and in any phase of the tournament. He literally won by himself the copa del rey, scoring 2 goals (one of them being one of the greatest goals in football history, scientifically proven to be impossible) and providing 1 assist in the final. He was absolutely nuts in la liga, and even won them the league against Atletico Madrid with his goal in that match. And he won the Uefa Super Cup final with 2 absolutely ridiculous free kick goals. He also reached the Copa America final, and was named MVP of the tournament. Neymar was great, but Messi was simply otherworldly, literally insane, anyone who witnessed that season knows it, that’s one of the greatest seasons by one player.
Truth is Neymar is only under Messi. I say this as a Madrid/Ronaldo fan, football has just not been as kind to to him as it’s been to Messi and CR7, he was always injured and made some questionable decisions with his career tbh.
