Funny how you mentioned Kyrie because hes literally the basketball reincarnation of Neymar. Both are arguably the most talented dribblers of all time in their respected sports and both would rather do other things than play their sports lmao. Growing up here in the states like you guys but playing football my whole life, had to give up bball in HS to play football (same season was played) you guys are almost spot on when it comes to the comparison between sports except generally bball the movements are move vert, ie getting shots not blocked, horizontal movements like breaking ankles is close cause you can break people off with your hips, or the ball, or both. Only difference is the ball doesn't bouce constantly so you can manipulate it on top of that with one foot. like roll overs, elasticos, step overs. so it adds another dimension to dribbling and movement to not only defend but to learn how to dribble, add that to using the rest of your body and that's when you come to realize how hard this damn sport is. Out of shooting, dribbling, vision, and passing (i was a striker) I had a problem with headers the most, just timing and going over multiple people with elbows flying, people grabbing you, the goalies fist and knees flying at you, and the ball can sail, knuckle, bend and the speeds change. I played point guard in bball and tail back from gridiron so the feints, and shielding, and physicallity was never a problem, headers are just such a damn mystery to get really good at for me. I could never get them perfect even after 30 years of playing. but last thing, when you watch those fakes etc, think about other player movement too and how fast they are moving and how many people are around you.. it's not just 5... I have massive respect for defenders and midfielders who are good at defending. It sure seems harder than striking, at least as a forward. Keep em coming! Show mook my idol Thierry Henry art video!

2: tend to be full backs, people who defend the sides in the game
3 and 4: center backs, defend the area in front of the goalkeeper

7: can be seen either in midfielders or attackers
8: most of times midfielders, people who control, obviously, the midfield
9: THE. KILLER. A player whose function is to make as many goals as possible. Stay in the front of the opponents goal and wait for a ball
10: tend to be the best player in the team, can be seen in attackers as much as midfielders
11: usually people like Neymar, who can break the balance of the other team
From 12 to above can be anything, as a team has 11 players people from 12 and above tend to get those numbers because others are already used.
I would add 10 is the most creative and intelligent player.
The 7 and 11 are often the dribblers, fast and dynamic players playing at the winger position.

3rd best player of his generation, only behind Cristiano and Messi. Should have been the best player in the world for some years, but poor career choices and injuries prevented him from that. Head and shoulders above everyone else, no doubt about that. And since you guys are into basketball, I have always felt Neymar's counterpart in basketball is Steph Curry. They have such similar demeanors! Super "playful" athletes and also super skillful as well (Neymar - dribbling, Curry - shooting). They remind me a lot of each other.
