I really like the accelaration sound of this train. It's a calm humming like electric sound. I like that you put in the date aswell when this sound was recorded because i always wondered when was the recording of this sound and how far behind was the travel time to the video upload.
It's the same kind of traction motors that is on the Class 333. But Heathrow Express are replacing the Class 332 with the modified Class 387/1s. And I would imagine that the Class 332s are to be scrapped or to be moved for storage. Which is most likely that the Class 332 are to be sent for scrap due to so many issues than the Class 333. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Rail_Class_332 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Rail_Class_387

It sounds a bit like a GEC camshaft and a Bombardier AC motor. Its so soothing. I love this nearly as much as a 365.
It is like a GEC kind of, like a blend of old and new

I like the acceleration of these trains. Reminds me of the 2009 Stock on the Victoria Line. It’ll be a shame when these trains get replaced as well.

My favourite train! But they just HAD to replace it with my local train, the 387..
I know. It's harrowing af. But look, at least the 387's livery is peng.... and they go like 110 so it's another 5 mins off the heathrow journey
Oh god. No.
I think the 332s had rust or corrosion, some kind of neglected and underlying issue. Hence they were taken out of service and then scrapped.
You should record the 333 sound, you have very good recording equipment so you should be able to pick it up!
They sound the same

Sounds similar to an electrostar!
It basically is. Its just by a different company
@@NSE465 it's two, actually. Siemens and CAF
By using an IBGT inverter. the Electrostar uses that too
Sounds like the 321 renautus (vossloh motors) mixed with bombadier electrostar.
Probably.

そうなんですね。さすがに廃車は早すぎますもんね。
ありがとうございます。
