@@offdaair if it’s not working I take it you’re on PS4 or a similar console, try the Scipio-D from collections. That’s the only one I’ve been able to get it to work with. Not sure why :)
It worked today with a fireteam of 2 and whichever the boss didn’t argo on hit the group in the back with a rocket launcher just in case boss man didn’t want to jump off on the first go.
Anyone trying this and stuck on the rocket part i used palmyra b 39 velocity with fast ball and it works as soon and you fire your rocket grapple to it literally almost at the same time
the process is the same on hunter, and honest any weapon loadout will work up to the boss room just take your time if you are underlevel like i was. rocket grapple skips a big part of the level, and for the boss room any sword works just to swing back onto the edge
Rocket velocity matters if you have sins of the past you can craft it from collections if not there is green rocket with low velocity as well. Palmyra B rocket is also really good with high stability kts more consistent

You can still farm the first encounter, you just can't get the checkpoint until after killing the boss were as before you could get the checkpoint before

Make sure you guys have fastball on! Spent countless hours not being able to attach to the rocket.
R u talking about for the speed of the grapple? I know it doesn’t make the grapple attach farther but does it make it go faster?

Just an FYI lumina works too and is easier to grapple if you can't get the rocket
to make it easy for some. the new stasis heavy glave shots. you can grap it just need to press and hold s while grappling it

sadly this got patched in the current update :(
That chest peice has to be the most overused one in the game
As a hunter its really hard to get him to fall without dying to the adds
Use stasis damage resist build. 88% damage resist.
Just pop a flag down and float off the edge with your strand super
Whats the highest stat piece u have had iv just had 65
My hightest was a 68 roll helmet

ive only had the fusion and the grenade launcher drop for me in this encounter
Unforgiven drops from The Vault encounter and Caiatl, but it's a 1/11 chance from the final boss.
Can you do it with any rocket?
The lower the velocity the better

I had to grab a lower velocity launcher. I have a 39 velocity that I can't miss.

The patch removed the checkpoint so you can still farm it but you have the restart the dungeon every time.
