- Aloo Gobi Masala is a popular and one most delicious vegetarian curries. So if you are looking for a vegetarian/vegan curry recipe, this is the perfect one to give a try. Goes well with poori/chapathi/roti/naan/paratha etc.

Ingredients For Potato Cauliflower Curry:
Cauliflower Florets - 3 cups approx. (half of a medium sized cauliflower)
Potatoes - cubed, 3 cups;
Onions - Finely chopped, 3 cups;
Tomatoes - pureed/crushed/finely chopped, 1 cup;
Ginger paste - half tbsp;
Garlic paste - 1 tbsp;
Whole spices - 1 green cardamon, 5 cloves, 1 star anise, 1 inch stick of cinnamon, half tsp fennel seeds (saunf), 1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera);
Ground spices - 1 tsp each of turmeric powder, red chilli powder, corriander powder and garam masala powder, and half tsp cumin powder;
Coconut milk (optional) - half a cup (may be substituted with heavy cream/cashew paste);
Coriander leaves/cilantro to garnish;
Salt to taste;
Cooking Oil - 3 to 4 tbsp;
Water - half a cup;
Salt to taste.

I added the masala to the onion and tomato mix
N i think it tasted more good without adding coconut milk

@@aprilflowerarts I went to a west Indian market today to pick up the rest of the spices I didn't already have and I'm so glad I did. This was hands-down the best curry I've ever made. I added chickpeas to mine for some protein but the spices in this were the shining star of this dish.

Indian is my favorite food and Aloo Gobi is what I love with paneer. most the recipes I found online show in the images and videos a dry version which I have had but I much prefer it with a sauce. yours looked the most similar to what I like, I feel like an Aloo Gobi connoisseur at this stage I love it so much haha I will definitely give this a go thanks very much :)

Another great video! Do you know of any Indian curry recipes adapted for slow cookers? Or maybe a recipe that will yield 8 + servings? You rock!
+the7ak3 Thank you so much..! you could do red kidney bean (Rajma Curry), Chickpea curry (Channa Masala), Dal Makhni, black eyed peas curry, pulao/pilaf in slow cooker.. for non-veg options: Biryani, Lamb/pork/chicken curry etc.
