Lovely inspiration behind simple home cooked food. Parsi Kumas is one recipie I make as a dedication to my Maternal Grand Mother. While she is no more, i can still remember most of the steps she did as she baked this lovely tea time rava & mava cake over a low flame of ambers.
My mother used to make it the same way on a flame of ambers but tody is an important ingredient in it which is difficult to get now though you can use other rising ingredients, but it's not the same.

Bro, love they way you cook. Meri ami aalu gosht jesa banati thi wesa na main kabhi bana pai aur na dobara kabhi khanay ko mila. Ami is too old to cook anything. Even if she could, I am not able to travel that far to eat that. Everybody loves my cooking but I feel my mom was the best.
