The unit will fit directly to the factory mount behind handlebars. You don't have to use the bracket as shown in the video.
Great video mate! I'll be doing this tomorrow and you've made it a hell of a lot easier! Cheers mate
Thanks Jake👍glad it has helped ya mate👌 they are a great unit. I have actually remounted mine to the factory ktm dash bracket just a couple of weeks ago. Just had to use a couple of washers🤙

Smash the like button dammit good stuff brother dignit 🤘🏻🐿🤘🏻
Thanks bro🤘
Great vid mate did you have to calibrate for the speed I’ve got a 21 inch wheel on my husky 501 pretty well the same as a KTM
Thanks Scott. I had to calibrate it because i had 17" motards on it. They include instructions on how to calibrate it. Pretty easy to follow👍
nice Video mate ! thanks for sharing , i have one question still , for example o broke my original Speedometer and Im going to buy the one shwon in the video . Do i need to replace the wires as well or the tech endurance fits in the original plugs . i have a 2019ktm
I know the plug was the same at the sensor end of the wires but i am not sure at the top where there speedo plugs in? Worst case it is easy to run the wires as it is all external. Still the same speedo upto 2021 450excf

@@MAKENTRAX thanks for helping me dude !. i Will try it myself and if i have any info i'll update you
Cheers
No probs mate glad to help
Was 1894 as the wheel size the correct option for the accurate speed? I just turn my KTM into a supermoto and I’m having this doubt. Cheers!!
Sorry mate I can't remember and I sold the bike last year.
Not sure if you’ll reply to this but was wondering do you have to hook it up to your battery ?
Not 100% sure mate. I would say no. But i can disconnect mine and see what it does.
MAKE-N-TRAX okay let me know. I recently picked up a 2011 husky txc250 and the guy I bought it from gave me his endurance 2 that was still in the box. Planned on installing bug just wasn’t sure if I need to connect to the battery as well. Thank you very much I really appreciate it.
@@thecarp2016 so i DISCONNECTED the trailtech from the bikes battery. Display stays active. speedo still registers off sensor when spinning but the display doesnt illuminate. Backlight will illuminate for 5 seconds when you press a button on the display and then switches off.
With trailtech CONNECTED to bikes battery the backlight illuminates as soon as the wheel spins and stays on as long as the wheel is spinning. If you press a button on display while stationary it will illuminate for 90 seconds and then go off.
Hope this helps you.
MAKE-N-TRAX thank you for taking the time to test that. Very appreciative
@@thecarp2016 no worries mate good luck with the install
Would installation be same on a 09-11 exc 450/530??
The pick up and everything should still be the same.
MAKE-N-TRAX awesome thanks
Any way to put miles from original ODO on it?
Not on this model unfortunately
Acumulated ride time works without the speedometer?
I would say it works as an average off distance travelled. I have only had it with speed sensor connected. I have got onto Trail Tech to confirm. I will let you know.
@@MAKENTRAX okay,let me know,and thanks :D
It is calculated off of the wheel sensor being triggered. So once the sensor is triggered it will start counting time.
@@MAKENTRAX oh,okay,thanks :)
@@daviisitoh4199 no worries👍
would the oem speedo fit that mount?
pretty sure it would, from memory the bolts were at the same centres
Awesome thanks!
@@Bfalco71 Yeah i remember i ended up ditching the aftermarket mount and mounting the Trailtech to the factory mount
Why did you replace the original one??
it filled up with water and stopped working
@@MAKENTRAX i fill up mine with ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL and let it dry, solved
@@pierogillio wow how cool is that👍
First
