    Question: Is your sandwich maker still working? I just got mine, and made a grilled cheese sandwich, nothing too different from what you did here but I added butter to the bread instead of spraying the cooker. The top of the machine turned purple while it was cooking in a spot on top?

    Thank you for using plastic utensils to remove your food from the sammich maker.
    I have watched four reviews of this product and you were the only one who was not using a metal knife or fork
    to remove the food. If you are going to review an item you should respect the manufacturer and read
    the directions. Yes, I am a guy. I know we are genetically predisposed to scoff at directions.
    After all, Neanderthal Man did not find a set of instructions with that first big animal femur he found was
    a great dating enhancement tool.

      I am a guy and will scoff at directions too. Not as much these days after I have reviewed over a 1000 products last year on my other channels, I learnt that sometimes it is a good idea to actually take a moment and just look even if it is just at all the pictures to get a feel before you begin.

    • @Bill23799
      @Bill23799 Рік тому

      @@Jakecooks Nowdays it is just common sense NOT to use metal utemsils on a non stick surface. I just wanted to add that so you know I was not implying you read the instructions. Hehe, you were just using your head . My Sammich maker came today. I am happy with it so far.
      I made pocket pizza and grill cheese so far. I notice it is made for larger than standard size Wonder Bread. I get one triangle smaller than the other. This will really upset people with OCD. Going to try larger size slices in future.
      Oh, just for grins I tried heating up a few Frozen Tater Tots in it, five to a side. Took 2 cycles but it worked haha.

    • @Bill23799
      @Bill23799 Рік тому

      @@Jakecooks In all seriousness if you are going to review a product I respect that you would glance at the instructions just to be fair to the maker of the item. Of course a sammich maker really is pretty much idiot proof. No I take that back, I saw one reviewer insist on overloading it just to show food squishing out the sides.

    • @Jakecooks
      @Jakecooks  Рік тому

      @@Bill23799 It's sad that many lack common sense these days, I struggle with one of my daughters trying to teach it to her. I do not like to overflow for the fact I have to clean all of that up. I did see a video earlier that someone did with an industrial waffle iron putting french fries and cheese then smashing into a crispy cheesy hashbrown and then using it for a burger, does not sound healthy but sounds good.

    *So simple. So easy. Finally a simple way to make sure **MyBest.Kitchen** my teenager has something substantial in his stomach before heading off to school. And something he feels confident "cooking" himself... Close to foolproof. Only glaring upgrade issue for me would be an on/off switch so myself or my son would not need to constantly tug on the plug/cord.*
