shim lim I bought this effect and I'm not upset with my purchase it's working out for me with practice but I think you could of made a more detailed tutorial and show from different angles because half of it I had to figure it out my self. buyers be warned that this effect is difficult and will require a good amount of practice

This is really weird. Why is all the card trick now filmed at 60 fps? Last cardistry video I saw it was the same thing. Anyone else thinks the images look too weird? We lose the cinematic experience here :( only TV news do that. Oh wait is it because of UA-cam setting everything in 60 fps? ....
youtube only encodes to 60fps if the upload is 60fps
Thanks for the info! So I guess I'm right to feel weird out by the choice of the fps for these cards manipulations videos.
It's personal taste. Much like when the Hobbit was released in HFR (2x film... 48fps). A lot of people said the same thing, it's the soap opera effect. Personally I think it looks a lot better, it also makes appreciating Shin Lim's skill and timing easier - we can see how the trick is done, but that doesn't actually detract from his ability and showmanship. But like I say, personal taste.
