- This week on Burnin Eights we're following around our buddy Trapper Troy to learn about beaver trapping on some Northern Wisconsin public land. I've ate beaver backstraps several times and they are good. But beware you have to cook the beaver WELL DONE! They can carry trichinosis.

I'm guessing the backstrape is like a heart texture?
Does Trapper Troy have public contact information? Does he sell pelts of the beavers he traps?
Does Troy have a public account or contact information to get in touch with him?
Must be a hobby trapper or weekend trapper otherwise Troy would be skinny. Beaver that are caught and killed in conibears or diwn a drowner has the blood in the meat making it nasty. Eat the ones alive and properly bled, huge difference in taste
Couldn't be to far north theirs no snow on the ground.
