- This week's video we go mushroom foraging in Mexico so we can make some Oaxacan dishes! Spoiler alert, the food was amazing! Highly recommend signing up for this tour if you're in Oaxaca during the rainy season. They also have a ton of other tours such as Mezcal.
Their website: www.mezcouting.com/
You can also find them on Instagram @mezcouting
If you'd like to stay more up to date on our adventures, check us out on IG @taklyntheworld UA-cam videos tend to be behind since they take more time to edit than a quick story on instagram.
Lalo is so mature and passionate at such a young age! Bless all of you for taking me with you on your little adventures.
My Favorite Jocelyn line @11:20
As Taku is chowing down on that tostado, Jocelyn asks…”Is it my turn???”
Taku still chewing “uh-huh”
Jocelyn “yeassssssssssssss!”
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂
Wow ❤ That food looks like an explosion of flavor!
Picking mushrooms in Alaska, then Mexico! I am impressed!
So cool seeing the mushrooms that grow in each place!
@@TaklyntheWorlddo the same ones grow in each place ?
@@TaklyntheWorld I thought I saw your van today on 101 in Del Norte county...
@@edquier40 a lot of the edible ones we have here in California were also in Mexico! We're not in that area. Our van is pretty basic though. lol looks like all the white vans out there.
You two live an amazing life 😮
Love taking tours like that!!❤❤❤
Oh my, that all sounds so good! Beautiful, too.
Amazing video. A lot of knowledge to learn about the mexican food.
I can't imagine the fragrance, and the taste of those fresh ingredients, I'm heading back down to Mexico for this experience for sure
It's inspired us to start making our tortillas from scratch again!
Great video Jocelyn & Taku! What a great variety of information on something totally different to do in Mexico then you would ever think of doing. Thank you for this. The food looked absolutely delicious. Glad I just ate as I’m now hungry again. Lol
Thanks for sharing!!!
looks so good
Blue heads got a mouth wow. Can just hear taku taking it and Jocelyn not having it either hahah. Good video regardless but wish there was more mushroom hunting
I love mushrooms. I should have some with the tacos I'm thinking of making soon with pork shoulder.
Omg that food looks so freaking good.
It was amazing!
When I think about Mexico the first thing that comes to mind is mushrooms. The second is absolutely amazing food! Never been there would love to visit!
Oaxaca is where Gordon Wasson discovered Maria who showed him the 'magic ones' that ended up in Life magazine I think in the early 60's.
Andrea was telling us about that! It was pretty sad. 😔
It muddled up the entire hippie generation. Long story though. And yes it was kind of sad. @@TaklyntheWorld
@@TaklyntheWorldyeah, they ended up banishing María Sabina because all the mushrooms white people were stealing from the region just to get high
I've never been to Mexico but it's at the top of my bucket list, I have 2 bffs from there, my brother went just before the pandemic and the day he left, the government closed the borders so he couldn't go back home, he was so upset 😉😉 😂 he had to stay in Mexico for 4 months I think. He works from home and had his work laptop with him so he really enjoyed his lockdown there. I'm hoping to go next!
4 months in Mexico would be amazing
Excellent Food preparation!
Delicioso🎉.
JO JO IN VT 💞🍁🎃
Oh my you both back in mexico Lol...Food look delicious and videobn is awesome .👍😊
🌴 Hola, well you two wouldn’t you know it I got stuff to make a tostadas in the fridge, 🌶🧆🌮🫔, but I’m craving sushi ! 🤔. I’m so confused 😳
Both, you can have both!
OMG is that like a mole soup 🤤
really nice video 👏👏👏👏👏!
☝🏾❤️🤙🏾
First like, first comment! Let’s gooo! Haha. Love you guys a ton! Been following for a long time now. :)
Your life accomplishment?
@@elkhunter76 one of them!
Back to close to my house in Tlalixtac de Cabrera. The weather here is glorious, just keep it a secret.
I hope your burn is doing better! And I hope Taku is more sympathetic then he sounded. If he was trying to be funny, it wasn't. My ex used to "joke" like that. Not right when a loved one is in pain.
It's doing better and he is! We just both find it funny after (when we're sure I'm fine) because of how on brand it is for me.
When I saw the blue hair, I thought it was Jocelyn. I wonder if Taku will be allowed to forage and make a meal while in Mexico
Hi lalo👋🙂
😍🖤🥰🇺🇲🍻🍺
So Taku first I absolutely Love both of you site's but I have to ask you when are you going to get engaged to to your beautiful woman??? I know this not the first time you have been asked that! God bless you both. Jim from So Cal.😮😢😊
First I’ve ever seen on UA-cam with blue and purple head collaboration
Blue hair not natural
16 looking 40 😁
Shes a cutie
im glad you guys are putting the mushroom foraging on this channel. cause its boring as hell watching yall do the mushroom foraging on the main channel.
i hope you heal
man some of y'all are some miserable weirdos.
I just talked to taku he said just send him a list of stuff you only want to see on each channel and he will stick to those topics! 😅
stopped watching when i sawed the blue haired woman. sorry.
Hahahahaa
She's def an odd lady, and I suspect there is a lot more going on here than what we see (maybe she is dating the 15 year old kid, or maybe she is dating the 15 year old kid)...but hey, who are we to decide. Food looked either way. 😆
yeah that is pretty sorry.. but hey, at least you have self awareness. you got that going for you.
Then you missed something that could've made you less ignorant if you kept watching. Sorry you judge people based on their appearance. She seems to be pretty informed in Oaxaca's food culture and also in love with the culture. I don't see how the blue hair has anything to do with anything. You don't have blue hair but I can tell you're very ignorant
thank you all for your coloured-hair replies. i am a bug, and i am accute to my natural surroundings.
She tried way too hard to speak Spanish 😅
well she's in mexico, so...
@@leegalees860 can you imagine, going to another country and then being told by some rando that speaking the language of that culture is considered "trying to hard"
folks are weird.
That's awesome. I'm pretty sure the locals appreciate the effort. As a Mexican I fully approve and give her props!
As a oaxquean I can say her spanish is pretty good.
She knows so much! Cool hair too
