I am also building at home and its nice to see others who are doing it. At home they are superstitious so I can't share videos until the build is done, but I have been taking footage to create a video when its done. Thanks for sharing.
Congratulation on your house project at home... it's good that you are taking videos and pictures you will create beautiful memories... it's always nice to go back to the pictures of the before and then to check out the after pictures.
Bro, tell your constructor that most of your UA-cam viewers will certainly use their services. I’m in venda and will surely use your constructor my brother .
An idea maybe for another video is to take us through the process of how you went about design your plan, rooms, living room etc, size of the plan and how much is costed your designing your plan for the house.
Thank you so much for sharing this brother. Lots of insights. Would you say this type of slab is cheaper or more expensive than a pour-on slab? I'm kind of stuck between the two for my house.
For the beam & block slab is much cheaper if I were to compare it with the shatter board slab, because there are so much material which is being purchased to be use and after the slab is complete you no longer need those material, like the shatter boarder and round poles.
Well done. Watching from Germany. What's the mixture ratio of cement, sand and quarry for the blocks made on your site? Also which size of quarry chippings did you use for the blocks. And the dimensions of your blocks? Or can you shear a video of how the concrete hollow blocks were made? Thank you in advance.
Hello thanks for the support all the way from Germany much appreciated, with regards to the question unfortunate I won't be able to answer as I don't know what ration of mixture of the cement used and the exactly size of the blocks used.
Impressive, I was intimidated of going the double storey route but after seeing your video I'm motivated. If you can may you please make a video of break down estimated costs
I'm glad to have motivated you on the double storey believe me once started you will not wanna go back.. yes I will do a video for total cost break down.
Hi, unfortunately I won't be sharing the house plan as yet for personal reasons, but the company which designed my house plan is Maphaha Holdings and you can also check them out on Facebook facebook.com/profile.php?id=100063646912529
Mixing concrete with no machine not advisable as river sand & concrete can easily separate from cement result in weak concrete slab. but otherwise the house is beautiful & it'll not cause you issues since it's only a double story..
I'm glad you find the video motivative and thanks for the feedback...For the cost I will do a separate video for it which I will include all costs of the Slab installation.
Quick question bro...ask the builder for me kur is it possible or allowed to make your own bricks when building a double storey like this or I can only buy those Clay bricks then use my own bricks on the upper level... Just thinking of cutting some costs... Also thank you for letting us know kur ready mixed concrete is too cost yeah I'm definitely going to cut it out too
Yes, I can ask him that for you, but his recommendation for the double storey is to build using stock bricks doesn't matter whether you buy them or make them yourself as long as it is strong. He doesn't recommend block bricks on a double storey as he mention that as time goes the house with start to experiencing cracks. I know with Block bricks there is a lot of money to be saved.
Sho bafo, I need contacts of the guys who did the slab blocks for you, I just finished the foundarion slab and will be need going to the first floor slab in a couple of weeks. I am around Elim
How much is the cost to make lentils and making the slap at least you should have put the cost of everything not video and you talking but anyway good content bro🎉
I decided not to include the cost of the slab in this video since I'm planning to do a separate video for cost, please stay tune for that upcoming video
Do you mean 220sqm ground floor and 110sqm first floo? Your coverage ground floor looked way bigger then 220sqm. That's a mention bro. So inspired. Keep on pushing.
I really like the advice that when you planning to build a house, you must be really prepared financially

Your builders are awesome. They are with you in this and know how to save you money.
Some builders waste your material or steal material from you.
Yeah true, these builders also give advises from the experience

Good content. How much did the slap process costs of if I may ask?
Thanks, will keep providing good content. the estimated cost for the slab is around 150K but I will do a separate video for the total cost.
Did u buy land from a induna? Do u have a PTO signed by induna?
Yes we acquire land from the chief and they allocate a stand for you with certain amount and after approval, get the papers and stamp from the chief
@@LifeWithBliga can u please let me know which type of papers u got? I'm trying to learn about the process. Is the land also apart of Ingonyama trust?
its sort of a receipt that shows you have paid and stand or land is allocated to the name with a chief stamp
