Who owns these houses? Is this a rural village? If yes, then why are there no rural activities carried on as in a typical rural village? Is this all for tourist's sake?It would be greatly inspiring for men if it were a S African typical rural settlement. It is very strange that nobody lives in these houses. Please share a video related to the characteristic of a typical village. Thanks and greetings
There are people living in this village, it was during the day the sun 🌞 was very hot . I will visit the area once again to do some profiling and interviews
Yes it's a village. This phenomenon is typical in most rural provinces like Limpopo, KZN and the Eastern Cape. The owners do not unnecessarily stay there all the time and such developments are products of remittances accrued through exploits in the city especially from a province like Gauteng where most people work. We then go back to our villages or townships depending on where you grew up and then build up your old family home to resemble the houses in the city. Some people build these houses for themselves because of the low cost of land purchases and them being outside the municipal demarcated land or being in communal land means no rates and taxes are collected on the property.
I live in that Grey House.. 2:31
This is a great neighborhood for sure❤️
I would love to come back and do another video
