Hello! Awesome video. Do you mind if this video is downloaded and shared to the country club members of various golf courses? We are doing a golf/tennis/health tip campaign for the beginning of 2021
Those are great stretches . The first one is good but the second one is even better for stretching. The only thing I haven't figured out yet is wether to do a few quick ones at about three-quarters turn first to warm up, or to strech and hold when I first start. Thanks a lot.
Thank you for your feedback Henry. Definitely do a few 3/4 of the way to get some blood flow to the area. Also do a few arm circles each way to help warm up
Hi Mike, as always, thanks for your great videos. When I do any stretches to try to improve my left arm extension on the backswing, I never feel any actual stretching in my shoulder or those back muscles you mention. Typically, I rate the effectiveness of a stretch based on how much stretch I do feel. I have decent shoulder turn but the flexibility in my shoulder joint keeps my arm from getting close to my chest in my backswing. Should I just continue working with these stretches or do you think there's something else I need to do?
Hi Craig, Thank you! The rear deltoid, rhomboids, and traps are tough to stretch. It could be your chest gets in the way, or you're squeezing the pole or grip too tight and not allowing the muscle to stretch. But the most common issue I see is, those aren't the muscles that are making your shoulders tight. Try this: ua-cam.com/video/KYg-2EZrGSY/v-deo.html if this is really hard for you, incorporate this stretch: ua-cam.com/video/vKwjTCDJ_-M/v-deo.html Hope this helps
