Great react! This is a dope song. Although I do prefer the other version that's on the same album R U Still Down. Which in my opinion is his best posthumous album.
Another brilliant 2PAC tune ! Always a smooth catchy flow delivery but with a strong reality message of such a tough life and the everyday struggles he faced and as you both said are still so relevant today unfortunately! 💯 Lyrics are Just Amazing 🔥" Let the Lord judge " just got me here ! Love 2PAC he was so wise way beyond his years ! Thanks guys. 👌
Great Reaction yall, Classic song by Pac. Fun Fact: the last verse was also the 2nd verse to his song "Changes" Reaction to 2Pac "Letter to the President " OG
If you listen to this song I wonder if heaven got a ghetto. He answered his own questions with the song Thugs Mansion. That’s really important. It tells me that he found peace within himself on that subject. Or maybe God gave him the answers. Then he writes the Good die young. His songs are all connected. Then unconditional love. The verse that he says”My hopes and all my wishes so many vivid pictures and all the currency I’ll never event get to see.” That type of stuff gives me to chills! How can a 25 year old man be so spiritually gifted. Only thing I can conclude with is that through his trials and tribulations. God never left him. We all wonder what PAC would have done if he was still alive. Took me years to understand that he completed his mission. Though he made mistakes. We all have. Being human is the only way to get to heaven. I hear people say he should have done this and that different. But everything happened as it was suppose to be. In my eyes that makes him a sucess
Great insight Deric. At the end of the day God has a plan for all of us and in that even as hard as it is for others who care about you to accept no one dies a second too soon, it is all in His plan.
Bro honestly, you can criticize me, ridicule me call me blasphemous for what I am about to say, I even think it sounds ridiculous but, here it goes, I believe 2pac is the closest thing to Jesus Christ we have had in the modern era, I see a lot of parallels between the two, like you said he completed his mission and return to his Heavenly Father, I also think Kanye West is the closest thing we have to 2pac so I would like to think 2pac would be in Kanye’s position, Kanye is constantly involved in the culture and constantly looking to shake things up, they are both passionate visionaries, looking to mold reality into their visions, so yeah just my two cents
Pac was in his early 20s when he did this. The bottle of juice was the reference to the Latasha Watkins situation. The “for the first time everybody let go” was about the LA riots. In which he had NO BUSINESS in at the time😂 man was filming a movie during that time and snuck out in the middle of the night to get in the middle of it.
It should also be pointed out that the song Changes by 2Pac is basically a remixed version of this song due to the fact that 3rd verse of I Wonder if Heaven's Got a Ghetto is reused in Changes.
Shawn and Gina, 2Pac always seemed to have a lot to say focusing on lyrics. The music has a catchy tempo and sound and vibe. I agree it has a smooth R&B style. You are right that 2Pac was transparent. The lyrics are hard hitting. You both did an excellent job analyzing the meaning behind 2Pc's angst. I understand what you are saying that all 2Pac knew was a tough Ghetto life and he thought Heaven has a Ghetto. If 2Pac read the book of Revelation, he would have read about the glory and beauty of Heaven, God gives us a glimpse in the final chapters of Revelation how beautiful Heaven is, and there is no Ghetto in Heaven, but 2Pac wrote in reghard to what he understood. I enjoyed both of your honest and straight to the point comments.
Nice reaction 🙏 please do a reaction to his record "CHANGES". He made that track at 17 years old. Pac was way head of his time. He could see the future. His mind was on another level and unmatched. His lyrics in CHANGES talk about what going on today.
Hey yall have you checked out Blasphemy yet? Once again I love how you break down Pac's lyrics and make others comprehend. Keep it coming and God Bless.
Ya know I think about all the plans pac had; cookbook, the autobiography he had started on,the executive role he wanted to have with his record label, the production company, his political aspirations, and I just wish the grandpa pac would’ve saw the light of day. But then a last I think;what if he completed his mission @ 25?
The hook was done by brownstone
