Once again you guys nailed it. I always felt this song was Pac appreciating his real friends. As yall mentioned this was one of his first songs out of prison. And if you know Pac. The next few songs would be different. However that didn't make him a contradiction. That made him real. Never hid his in mistakes. That's what makes him so real. He gave us all of him. The good the bad and the ugly. Great reaction.
Im.impressed by how you understood that song, I know a lot of my boys been listening to that songs for decades and kinda don't understand it the way that you do. Nice
I keep SAYIIIING. Pac really admired and was more into OTHER genres of music bigger than rap. He was into the soulful oldies from the 80s/70s/60s funk and blues, country music, jazz , doowop, Frank Sinatra ,all types of stuff. If you look at his sample lists and the books he read,it speaks volumes
@@ReactionsToTheClassics pac loved heavy metal too..... he was a very special person... I was listening to him even before he passed away... he will always be the best in my opinion and heart ! God bless you both 🙏
Yes please react to Thugz Mansion featuring Anthony Hamilton. Beautiful song. It was released posthumously and it’s Tupac rapping as if he’s died and reflecting back on his life choices.
Good Reaction and Breakdown as USUAL! Pac was a Great Emcee and of being a Emcee is to show your range in vocabulary as he does with the line " cause even as adolescents I refuse to be a CONVALESENTS" 🐐
Admire Video extra Verse3 Tupac Father forgive us for livin' while all my homies stuck in prison Barely breathing believin' that the world is a prism It's like a ghetto we can never leave A broken rose givin' bloom through the cracks of the concrete So many other things for us to see Things to be our history so full of tragedy and misery To all my homies never made it home The dead peers I shed tattooed tears for, when I'm alone Picture us inside a ghetto heaven, a place to rest Findin' peace through this land of stress In my chest I feel pain come in sudden storm Life full of rain in this game watch for lead thorns Our unborn never got to grow, never got to see what's next In this world full of countless threats I beg God, to make us all believe 'Cause I ain't mad at cha

Nice analysis! You guys should check out the video. Real eerie due to him being shot in a real similar fashion to how he was shot in real life after leaving an event with a friend. The video premiered on mtv a week after his death and everybody was shook.
Oh wow a week after? That is crazy! I checked out the vid so good. We try to avoid reacting to vids only because they oftentimes get blocked. Thanks CK!
The first verse was from the perspective of the average hood story. Most of the time, when blacks who was hustling got jammed in the system, they get swole and convert to Islam, leaving the homie that didn’t get locked up somewhat confused at the change of who he friend once was
Great job breaking down the lyrics. I would love for you to listen and give your thoughts on Tupac “Only God can judge me” I just think you will agree that it’s a great song and powerful message. Great job 👏
Another surprising fact about Tupac and music is, one of his favourite songs of all time was Vincent by don McLean. It’s the last song he heard as kidada Jones played it for him on repeat after he was shot
Shawn and Gina, The song has a moderate relaxed tempo musically with soft piano notes. You both understand the theme of the lyrics is loyalty. You both go into detail as you explain what 2Pac was saying here. You explain the story very accurately. There are changes in life that pull people in different directions, but still remember the friendships and the bond that was built. You both did a really good job expounding the meaning in the message.
Tupac knew he was going to pass away soon so he made the video for this before he passed. He died a few days before it came out. If you watch the video for the song .. you’ll see that he is shot and killed, and continues the rest of video as a spirit dressed in white
That Song was on All eyez on me. He died Months after the Album. So he didnt die a couple of days after the Videoshoot to "I aint mad at cha". He died a Couple of days after the Videoshoot to "How do you want it" from the Makaveli Album the 2nd Album Released on Death Row.
KEEP GOING, GREAT JOB. 2:56 I love the expression on ya look...the built up is all too "you are MUSLIM now" most dismiss this part or skip through it without giving it a full realization off what its' about. Keep going and please give us always your true reaction.
The Music video is even crazier because he’s in Heaven and they also kept it clean so the song is different from this one and also another verse was added on the end
1st of all, I love yall chemistry & energy. I've viewed other Tupac videos you two or you two with your son have did and really enjoyed you guys commentary. You could've approached this as just another vulgar rap song. But you guys actually do research & break down the lyrics to get an UNDERSTANDING!
Thanks we really appreciate your kind words. So many people easily dismiss things and judge them without really understanding. We want to try to stop that cycle!
Good job y’all 👏🏾 !! I love your reactions. I enjoy watching other music lovers perspective on generational talent. I’ve watched all your 2 pac reactions and would love if both of you reacted to these other 2pac songs… my block (better days album), pain (above the rim soundtrack), baby don’t cry (2pac and outlawz album)…. Keep it up please 👏🏾
This is definitely NOT one of my favorite Tupac songs. I've just never connected with any part of it. So much so that I almost didn't click on it. The fact that I clicked is a testament that I am a fan of you guys, wanted to give you the view, give give you the like, and hear your thoughts and perspective.
Once again you guys nailed it. I always felt this song was Pac appreciating his real friends. As yall mentioned this was one of his first songs out of prison. And if you know Pac. So well said. We all have many sides, when we try to pretend that we only have the good ones it makes us unrelatable. Thanks Deric!
And unfortunately also he knew that he was gonna pass away soon. Watch the video

It's because all those music genres originated from black people. Rap is just incorporating them all.
Please react to Thugz Mansion - 2pac ! Its amazing 🤩
It is on the list. Thanks!
Yes please react to Thugz Mansion featuring Anthony Hamilton. Beautiful song. It was released posthumously and it’s Tupac rapping as if he’s died and reflecting back on his life choices.
Fun fact: Danny was about 16/17 when he recorded this and was Suge adopted son.
Oh didn't know that. Thanks for sharing!

Admire Video extra Verse3 Tupac
Father forgive us for livin' while all my homies stuck in prison
Barely breathing believin' that the world is a prism
It's like a ghetto we can never leave
A broken rose givin' bloom through the cracks of the concrete
So many other things for us to see
Things to be our history so full of tragedy and misery
To all my homies never made it home
The dead peers I shed tattooed tears for, when I'm alone
Picture us inside a ghetto heaven, a place to rest
Findin' peace through this land of stress
In my chest I feel pain come in sudden storm
Life full of rain in this game watch for lead thorns
Our unborn never got to grow, never got to see what's next
In this world full of countless threats
I beg God, to make us all believe
'Cause I ain't mad at cha
Wow thanks for taking the time to type that out and share, much appreciated Julio!
The video version is better than this version especially the third verse. Hopefully you can reaction the video version next time 😎
I disagree but they’re both great 😊
@@danielswan690 yes you can feel his passion more in this one, i think it's one of the best rap performances of all time
