hmmm, lovely rifle, bolt sounds so smooth. i have an old t3 varmint and love it. super accurate etc. just wish it were a touch lighter. but, there have been times when the number of shots on a cull appreciates the extra thick barrel.
@@Canuck21530 yes break does reduce some recoil. After testing ammo my rifle lkes just about everything i put through it, but i am getting my best groups with the barnes tsx and the berger hybrid hunters, my best group was 5/8 at 100 with the hybrid hunters, and im just a hunter not a target guy, the gun is way more accurate then i am, highly recommend any tikka ya just cant beat them imo. My issue now is incant find any berger ammo.
Great video thanks! Just got my roughtech couple days ago in .270win. How many rounds did you shoot before sighting for barrel break in. And at how many yards did you sight it ? Hope you can answer !
Good short review mate. No BS and well paced and edited etc. Very accurate little rifle.
Thank you for the feedback, I appreciate it!
Need more reviews done right like this
Nice review and impressive shooting. Hope you have a great 2024
Well done mate, great video.
Tikka t3x is perfect
I almost agree. Throw some pillars and bottom metal on it instead of the plastic, and a Limbsaver recoil pad, and then its perfect lol.
@@whiteyfisk9769 and pricey ;) Roughtech is cheaper end of their line

Absolutely It’s hard to beat a Tikka action! I chose the roughtech for its weight only 3kg!
Just got my license in VIC, this will prob be my first rifle. Looks like good choice 👍🏼
Finland made good shit
have u got it already?
I have this rifle in wideland in 7mm mag love it
Wideland and roughtech the same ? How’s the accuracy of wideland in 7mm RM? Is the muzzle brake effective ?

@@catjackoff-road855 thanks really appreciated
Nice shooting !
What kind of Scope you using ?
@@siddiquenadir44 The optic is a ZeroTech Trace 3-18x50.
Thank you 😊
Great Video mate! Nice shooting too.
Thank you mate, I appreciate the feedback.
If I didn't have a fabulous CZ 527 in .223 that's sub moa with cheap ammo Tikka would be at the top of my list in .223.
great video

Thank you mate, I didn’t do any run in process just clean the rifle before shooting.
I zero all my center fire rifles at 100m.
@@Verifiedlongrange thank you! Good luck !
Nice rifle very accurate. How mutch you purchased the gun for?
in europe its 1400 and something euros
@@davudmuhic5807 1009 here in Finland.
Is the trigger guard plastic like other light models to save weight?
Correct it would appear to be the same as any T3x
can be replaced with an aluminium one
Great video! I foresee a fast increase of subscribers. Keep it up! 👍🏻
Thank you for the kind words and support I appreciate it!
Great shooting and vid, what ammo are you using in the roughtech? Thanks
Thank you, I was running hand loads using a 69gr Sierra Boat tail
@@Verifiedlongrange thanks mate tossing up between the 308 or 223…. Small game and some range work. Thinking 223 will do it
hand load?
Yes
Where u at there
I like how on the box it said Tikka 2nd to none.. But that's not true as it is 2nd to Sako.. :)
It pretty much is a sako
Depends, in some models Tikka beats SAKO's counterparts 100 to 0 though you are generally right.
You ever hear of a Tipton gun vise mate? Buy one and put it to good use..
not sure why anyone would need a muzzlebrake on a 223
Can use 308
that came with the gun though
To get a more accurate shot
. . .in the same way you can fit muzzle brakes on 22 lr and air rifles
