So many questions answered here. Do love a Scouser teaching me. The improv session is so great. Playful and gets a million miles away from the predictability of drum machine programming. Really inspiring.

This was very helpful - thank you for uploading it. One suggestion - take advantage of the new indexing feature to label the sections of your videos so viewers can jump directly to what they want/need. Thanks again!

At about 26', during the jam, you've got a kind of alien groove going which is really inspiring. I like drum machines when they are not sounding like conventional drums, having started using them back in the days when they were universally despised across the music business. By opening with that motif which is a bit odd you open up an open minded jam that gets pretty far out when you're into the randomise and last not repeats. Many thanks

Thank you for sharing, this is actually the first tutorial I’ve seen for this unit. I recently purchased it and have a little fun and wasn’t aware of all features of this drum synth. Great video and very well explained.

Drumbrutes are so cheap now. I keep thinking about it, but can’t afford the fx and mixer I would need at the mo. That new blur box mixer could be a match made for this with its 12 mono inputs and fx for each channel - plus recording of each channel!

    Some good stuff in here...thanks!
I was initially underwhelmed by the Drumbrute, but decided to take a new look at it as it is labeled...a drum synthesizer. Layering the rim shot with kick 2 for instance gives it a whole different character.
I think I'll finally use it in a new tune!

Nice demo thanks! What about extending a pattern from 32 to 64?

The way it creates strange grooves I'd never "compose" or imagine myself in Maschine, it would be really interesting to capture some of the random and last step polyrhythms variations with Maschine sample, to begin editing with a broader palette of sounds to these mad rhythms. Fancy having a go?

I was thinking the same thing but with my Atom.

Hi. It is possibile to control elektron machinedrum via MIDI with a drumbrute to achieve polyrhythms from machinedrum? What do you think?
