This is an old song which might be the reason for the song writing (story telling), it has evolved for sure during the years. Personallly I like this song a lot, fast guitars and drums. But for sure, this is early Sabaton.
A very good song from Sabaton is also Counterstrike, Love your reactions, Much appreciated that you react to the songs and take your time to learn about the history behind them.
I'm not sure if it was intended, but I wonder if the messy/disorganized feeling of the song was meant to reference the messy and complicated nature of that war and what it ended up causing in the years to come?
I agree this is not one of the most pleasing for the ear Sabaton songs, but it fits very well with getting the sense of, this is reign of terror going on, a bit fast, and a bit of chaos.. so i will give Sabaton credit for fitting the sound somehow to the subject, still when all comes down, we do want the good music, as well as the good story, we are not easy to please..lol
"Nuclear Attack" and "In the Name of God" are such good songs despite being from this older era of Sabaton where many songs pale in comparison to newer releases
Funny, I went to listen to this just after yesterday’s reaction followed by ”Counterstrike” and this history episode since I got in the mood of hearing some about the middle east history. I suggest you also check out ”Counterstrike”. Thanks for the video!
You should check out Amaranthe they did a cover of Sabaton's 82nd all the way and their is a live version with Sabaton and the 3 vocalist from Amaranthe.
Do you consider doing a video only about the history of the song that you've listened but haven't saw the Sabaton history behind it ,maybe like 2 ,3 Sabaton historys for a video. Also, there are some song that Sabaton history talk about have part 1 and 2 like Angel calling, Cliff of Galipoli, 1648, A lifetime of war( The English version of "En livstid I Krig", you should react to both version since it talk about different aspects of the 30 years war)...
I honestly agree. It has never been one of my favorite songs by Sabaton. I very rarely listen to the Primo Victoria and Attero Dominatus albums and only a couple songs from both really end up on my playlists. Art Of War (2008) was when I believe they really matured their style. That was the first album of theirs I really enjoyed and became one of my faves.
Really like your reactions of these Sabaton songs, maily that you are honest with what you like and don't like. And if you want Sabaton doing country check out Bourbon Boys there from the far north of Sweden and has a very speciall voice.
You should check out "in the name of god" its another song partially about modern events (specifically 911) but also terrorism in general not one event
I recommend Rise of Evil, it's about how Adolf Hitler came to power. Here is a music/lyric video ua-cam.com/video/-q120sJeisY/v-deo.html Edit: As well as In the Name of God, and White Death.
Kinda feels like they were trying to rehash Panzer Battalion, kinda like your usual one hit wonders who have one idea and have little else to show for it, though for all the things to redo, probably has to be one of the worst. Perhaps it flows together better Swedish, but the rhyming style just doesn't sit in English well.

Personally I enjoy this song. The lyrics reflect Operation Desert Storm. The music is pleasing to the ears as well.

I don't think it's a particularly bad song! But I see where he coming from!
Honestly... I liked your honest reaction. I don't think you will get any haters from this, that is not what Sabaton fans do.
Old Sabaton is heavy and brutal af, but they also did very melodic themes. Check out Purple Heart, as an american, you'll appreciate that.

Some other recommended songs from sabaton would be midway, cliffs of Gallipoli, and in the name of God

Greetings from Poland. You should do a deep dive in Sabaton Uprising.

You should check soldier of 3 armies from sabaton, i think you would like that story.
I recommend this song too
I'd recommend White Death, soldier of 3 Armies, Ghost in the Trenches, aces in exile and Coat of arms, good story telling and quality tunes
Man if it's not on the list please add white death and coat of arms. Great video and love the channel as always
Both are on the list, but I'll move them up.
This is one of the few songs that I don’t have on my playlist.
Just to clarify Reign of Terror is about Desert Storm and Panzer Battalion is about Operation Iraqi Freedom. You listened to them in reverse order ;)
truthfully i could care less about whether or not it rhymes, i still like the lyrics and the fast-paced nature of it
This song isn't my favorite, but it fits well among the song "In the name of God", which I like better.

Your Sabaton playlist is missing lost battalion and 7 pillars of wisdom.

It'd be cool if you could get around to Midway and maybe Wolfpack, give the naval history some love
It's on my list I'll get there
You should check out "in the name of god" its another song partially about modern events (specifically 911) but also terrorism in general not one event
Thanks, It's on my list
It's a messy one not my favorite but I believe it fits the subject

But not live back home.
@@TouchyReactions oh, ok. ^^
Sometimes they made more like report- short, informative, ugly. Another example is song Wolfpack

I agree, this is a track that would benefit from being rewritten, as you rightly say it is musically good, but seems to lose its way verbally.
