This trailer scared the living shit out of me as a kid, It caught me completely off guard the first time I saw it, and I ran downstairs where my dad and brother were.... Then acted cool, like nothing had happened. LOL. My dad didn't seem to notice, but my brother said, and I'll never forget this quote: "DId you hear the way he came down those stairs?" LOL. I use to love watching movie trailers on Star Channel back then. After seeing that, I always watched them with my finger on the cable box ready to click the station if I ever saw the back of that head again. Sure enough about 10-12 months later, after a preview for the movie H.O.M.P.S. (hows that for a freaking memory) I saw back of the head and 'click,' I remember thinking that and the previews for Ruby, Carrie and the Exorcist were mind-blowingly effective.
I was 10 when I saw this trailer, and holy shit I was freaked out, for months when the first 3 seconds of this trailer aired I lept so fast to the tv dial .
This trailer damn nigh traumatized me when I was a kid!Boy, was it scary! Then when I first saw the movie I was wondering, "Where is the skull with long, wavy hair?"The movie became a favorite later on.
I saw this trailer It scared the living fuck outta me! Ole timey movie theaters used to play tons of trailers so when I saw the back of her head and her hand combing her hair I didn't think to much about it. Then the creepy poem Was making my hair stand on end. The reveal made me want to run home, but it was dark. So I had to wait until my mom showed up to pick us up. I never to this day have seen this movie.
Ironically, Suspiria (1977) was released in the USA, what it's trying to say it's 92 minutes plus a preview for Saturday Night Fever before the movie.😊😉😊😉
@@d.b.gaston665the only thing more terrifying than the last 12 minutes of Suspiria are the first 92 means a sneak preview of Saturday Night Fever before the movie?👍
Scared me as a kid, but the film itself is an irritating, dumb and completely un-frightening POS. The fact that it is worshiped by some is mind-boggling.

Roses are red, violets are blue
The iris is the flower, that will mean the eeennnd of YOOOUUUUUUUUUU
(SUUUUUSSPIIIIIIIIIIRIIIAAAAAA...)
AMAZING!
That tagline is saying the ending isn’t as scary as the first 92 minutes of the movie. Shoulda switched that around.

I remember that the Suspiria trailer used to air in the afternoon during cartoons. Scared the crap outta me as a kid.
Welcome to my universe.
Were the censors asleep?
So you're basically saying this movie is 104 minutes long.
And that the last 12 minutes are the least scary part of the film
Reminds me of a Tinder date I had...

Chris Alo sent me
Where did the "roses are red" thing come from?😎😎😎😎
Not from the actual movie. I find this trailer silly but kinda fun.
@@d.b.gaston665 is it from another movie?👍
@@JacobDreamWorks921 Pretty sure it was just something made up for this trailer.

It's from a common poem.
