Love that you guys heard the feedback and decided to make more of these! would be cool to see you talk about how you set in the different volleyball game types (e.g. indoor, grass, beach 2s, beach 4s).
Could you guys do a quick mic volume check before recording? Micah was a bit quieter and harder to hear! Otherwise I love these deeper dives into the setters mindset! I would like to hear you guys talk about communication between hitters during transition. How do your backrow bic hitters know when to run behind the setter, between the middle and setter, in front of the middle? Or setting a higher ball to the outside vs tempo
Call it: "No system"... during a seminar a coach was asked what it is the best diffensive system against Ngapeth? The reply: " No system for Ngapeth"... No System is when the creativity and the desire to make a play meet!
nice vid. Sometimes I see myself or a lot of other setters miss an opportunity to be aggressive with the dump or spike on two. love the vid guys and see you guys at waupaca!
Maybe you guys could do an video on how you guys run your offense. How do each and every person knows what to do and what do you as a setter have to pick up while playing rallies and so on..
This was super interesting guys but you gotta work on the audio. Joe is way way louder than a Micah and it makes it difficult to follow. Next time I would recommend that each of you records your voice locally through your computer and then you can use those two tracks and put them under the video. You can record with OBS if you don't have a DAW.
@@OutofSystemOfficial AWESOME! It’s Andre Medina from Gainesville Florida. I coach club volleyball for Gainesville Juniors and I’m the head coach for Buchholz Highschool. Been watching since day 1! Legit was there for yalls first live stream where you had to invite people to a IG FaceTime and held the phone up to the microphone to hear our questions haha. Keep on keeping on!
@@OutofSystemOfficial Sweet!!! My name is Andre Medina and I coach at Gainesville Juniors Volleyball club out of Gainesville Florida, shout to them! I was one of those people!! Keep on keeping on gents!
Could you do videos comparing womens game to the men's game? I feel like this is one sport where both are as good sports as each other, and watching both games lets you highlet different skillsetss (power and explosiveness vs defense and rallies) etc
Im not sure the best format for such a video really, but some of my favourite players are: Daenan Gyimah, Khalia Lanier, Jenna Gray, Morgan Hentz, Ishikawa, Merrick McHenry You could maybe do videos on several players in a certain position and then analyze how different players play the same role, like aggressive hitter vs strong defending outsides @@OutofSystemOfficial
@@OutofSystemOfficial how are you guys making decisions on where to set? is it based on matchups? or a feeling? or a combination? what are your focuses four your setting decisions? is it running the middle of the court as much as possible? or keeping things fairly balanced How are you guys setting up your defenses when you guys are in the front row as “smaller” setters? Are you guys working on anything new? like tryna innovate the game or just continuing to perfect your craft? Who are your guys favorite setters to watch right now? and of all time? what was the transition like going from college to playing professional? what’s the coaching style like? do they play a large role in ur guys setting and decision making? that’s all i could think of off the top of my head. good luck in playoffs!
The 2nd Touch with Micah and Joe

What are your thoughts on slow vs fast release?
oooo we can talk about this
You should do a video ranking the top setters either intl or ncaa
2 setters one tip or play or another word at the end
What do you guys think is better? Hitting percentage or Efficiency?
Michael saeta the lefty who played in UCI this guy was a Beast in attack on 2, really aggressive setter!
