PLEASE FOR THE NEXT VIDEO talk about looking on the other side when you get a pass. (how to practice it, how to master it, when to look on the other side, what to look for when looking on the other side) I was watching the gage highlights 2019-2020 video and holy crap joe looks over on basically every good pass and makes the perfect decision.

Can you guys chat about these topics
    - specific routes in different rotations with middles and when you guys decide do change things up.
    - what you feel when you give someone a perfect set (hand position, eyes, body placement, mechanics, etc)
    - right side balls when off the net. I’m getting stuck between slightly inside or shooting it to far thru the pin. Do you always square up to the left? If so what do you feel in the moment to push the ball to the right side.
    Thanks! Life the content!
Would you be willing for people to send you guys videos to see how you could help them?

I love those nuances with the slight changes you make to draw or hold the middles. As an OH I have some tricks up my sleeve similarly to give me a slight edge. Its those tiny advantageous tweaks and adjustments that make high level Volleyball so awesome

the details with hand timing🤌 and love risk taking
how do you deal with attacker slumps? does that exist in that level?
do you guys play around with jump timing along with hand timing?
how do you guys watch film/prepare for these type of matches where you’re playing the same teams consecutively?

I know to you guy’s it might feel bland or not needed I loved hearing the little details and anecdotes that goes into how you run your teams!

I love this series! Your insight on the game combined with your skills make these fascinating to watch!
How do you balance your own mentality vs. your hitters/passers mentality? It may not be as relevant (or maybe even more relevant) at higher levels but it can be difficult to balance the mentality of everyone on the court. Knowing when to say "my bad" when it's not your fault because you don't want your hitters getting in their head. I've been on teams that shank a pass, then I have to get into a full sprint, blow out my back to get a good set to my outside, then they blast it 10 feet out of bounds and complain that the set was too low. I usually just say "my bad, I'll do better" because I feel calling people out just increases the tension making everyone place worse. How do you call them out to play better without causing more problems?

Great Video! As a setter, this helps me know how to understand how to manage tough decisions in games and where to set the ball.
In the future, could you teach how to jump set and how it's useful?

thats pretty cheeky, knowing the opposing middle watches how you set the ball, and using that to bait him and create a 1-on-1 on the pins or even an open net on the pipe 👍

Just unreal the insights you guys provide! How much of your setting decision-making is also determined by blocker tendencies in certain situations? (also crazy how much court Shoji covers in those clips)

    Very nice video!
I think these very technical aspects are super interesting to hear about.
Also good job on the mix, the volume of you two is very even this time.
I would recommend Joe to invest in a pop filter. You can get them for ~10€ and they do a great job of filtering out the plosives in your speech.
    Keep up the good work!

this is incredibly informative content. would love this with some other positions as maybe like one off videos. maybe a libero one with gage diving deeper into the position. id kill for a right side or middle one.
