It’s so true When De Cecco says “the more difficult plays are easier, and the more easier plays are difficult”. Can’t be anymore right. Just the sheer effort and confidence into making a difficult play is what makes the play seems easier. Unless you’ve played any sport and came across such situations, you’ll probably never understand. The easy plays are the ones you have time to doubt yourself and think about making a mistake.
Yep more time to overthink or half ass the ball because it's easy
i don’t even play volleyball or something but i sit through the whole video just to get an understanding of de cecco’s mind because he’s my favorite setter and im always amazed watching him makes an insane set looking so easy
god i love dececco
De cceco i love you and you accent (:
de cecco is an olympic bronze medalist
omg! such a good content, thanks this help me alot!
Great content, would be nice to have something like this for hitters as well
His accent is great. We Spanish speakers speak differently in English.
No is the more important
Its the most important
This is awesome, thanks for giving us this content. As a side note, I feel like guys with broken English are often the best instructors because they don't needlessly overcomplicate their ideas.
It also helps to be one of the best setters in the world
How would you sum up what he said, is there a simple explanation to have in mind all the time?
Can someone explain what the problem is with the set at 7:52 (Micah's last set to the oppo)? I listened to the explanation afterward and went back to watch it, but it didn't seem like he twisted to the right much at all. Maybe just the camera angle?
Thanks for this btw! One world class setter training another world class setter and we get to get a glimpse!? Brilliant!
I believe he's trying to tell Micah not to follow through with the rotation when he's setting right, saying that if he turns his hips too far then the ball will go too far right, which is much harder for your attacker to hit. I think it's the same idea as what he was saying at 3:45, just warning about rotating with the whole body as opposed to just the torso. But I could be wrong.
@@DonFranciscoUSFI’ve been struggling with twisting my body to set the right side and have been coming back to this video 80 times. I only now catch this comment and see what he’s saying
Qué crack De Cecco
very good
Fire content
Can someone explain why we turn right and face the net after back setting?
It’s better than squaring your back to the right side. People square the shoulders to the outside and adjust for the right side
If ball is High and spinning how to counter the momentum
is the antena
Im having issues enrolling with the clinic, on the website it says its free. But it doesn't seem to work for me
it's not free. You need a monthly or yearly subscription
The course works for complete beginners? i'm playing as a setter for 2 months now, and i dont have a coach to guide me in Movements and hand positioning, thinking about buying the course to help me out in that, but i have the fear to complex for me
Until you find a coach just focus on basics, face where you are setting
@@itsnotlikewerebloodrelated381 For now i think my precision is great and power as well, but my movement and hand positioning is laking, any contet that i could follow to improve that aspects?
de cecco que te haces el que hablas ingles si sos hincha de banfield
Como si ser hincha de Banfield (que no lo es) te impidiera hablar inglés.
