Love me Diastar since I was kid. Still looks awesome. I owe few and I am wearing one even living in Toledo, Ohio. Can’t Thank Enough for covering this beauty. I want one now. Rado is very careful to bring only impressionable designs, it’s a pleasure to wear and show one.
Teddy, a heads up - the Centrix line is made with steel cases, not ceramic. Also, the black one you're showing here is a True, not a Centrix. (that said, I have a gold-PVD Centrix, a "Hardmetal" tungsten-carbide Diastar, and a ceramic-and-steel Integral, and I totally enjoy all three)
Are the bracelets metal or ceramic? I notice the Rado website doesn't mention the bracelet materials.
@@almac9203 For the Centrix, it depends, though I believe none of them are all-ceramic. They'll either be all-steel (or PVD-colored steel) or steel-plus-ceramic. Ceramic links are black or dark gray. Most Centrixes on their site today have ceramic in their bracelets.

I have to say that looks really cool. hard to believe that is made of ceramic and not metal; especially on the "chrome" colored one. it could be one that you'd love forever or be totally over in 3 weeks, but I love the design.

Auto and manual winding?
When first getting into the watch hobby and I didn’t want to spend thousands of dollars yet I actually purchased this watch with a leather strap. I thought it fitting because before getting into the hobby my favorite watch was a skeleton from fossil and along side my very petite wrists this was the perfect choice for me. Although I had the very unpleasant satisfaction of purchasing a faulty clasp with the piece and the boutique was unwilling to order a new one for free so I had to return it within 24 hours.
I should add, I was able to get this watch for $1100 because I used to work at the store the boutique was in. Also might be the reason I was unable to be compensated for the faulty clasp....
I don't understand why you'd buy a watch with a dial covering the movement you paid so much to own. Feels like hiding a piece of art behind a colored wall with texture. I love skeletons and open hearts.

Aren't this skeleton watches meant for the Asian market? Asians love skeleton watches and nowadays all big brands are inclined to make models for that market even Pathek, I personally don't like it, but hey diversity is what moves the world
