@@adamtalkstechI love the lamp but they’re not durable or reliable. My first one stopped working after a few days. I got it exchanged for another new one and now all of a sudden this one won’t connect to my Bluetooth after working great for about a month. I literally put the lamp on my shelf (on its charger) and haven’t touched it since. I always use the app to turn the light on/off or change the color. Makes me want to throw it away and never buy another Phillips product again
really good review, i was thinking about getting a new lamp but the light with this one doesnt seem too bright at all. the best bet is just getting a bulb at a preferred lumen and getting a decent (light colored) lamp
What a great video! Your explanations are pretty clear. Thanks a lot! Do you think there's a chance that Philips will release an update in the app to show the battery life left?
@@adamtalkstech I’m in “elite” school in France and I obliged to spend many time to make work on paper and laptop. Thus, I need to a light enough powerful to not strain my eyes.
I love ny Philips hue lights
They’re so fun!
Good review! I was looking at a few different lamps but decided to purchase this one because this review describes it perfectly! Thanks
You are welcome! I hope you enjoy

Great review! This was very helpful in deciding whether or not to buy one
Thanks for watching!

It’s very bright especially for reading
How can I distinguish between the original and the counterfeit Philips Hue lights?
Great review, so you don't have a way to check when the lamp is fully charged when is plugged?
Correct no battery indicator
@@adamtalkstech and what about controlling scenes with amazon echo 4 but without hue bridge? Is it possible?

I really doubt it... They've had the standard go for 5+ years now and never updated it with battery life
Does the light stay on even after turning it off from the app? Should I turn it off from the electric switch?
Is it bright enough for reading as a bedside table lamp?
Yup! Perfect for that
Awesome, convinced me :)
What are the two tube lights behind you? Thanks!
Those are the Nanlite T8-7X!!! geni.us/QBczAZ
Do you think it’s okay to work with this light or you recommend me another one ?
yup i use it behind me while editing photos and videos every day and to read in the morning. What are you looking for in a light?

Can you connect this lamp shade to a sync box? I’d like to get one if I can sync it to my tv with all my other lights
I think all hue lights connect to sync box at least that’s my experience
@@browniesg161 It does, I have one now
Did u Test the Connection over BT ON the Go , away from the bridge? I can see the lamps BT ON my Android ( but the App not working without the bridge)
I did not get a chance to test that.
How do I change the battery?
I don’t think you can
No battery indicator is the worst
Seems it would be so easy
