Until it happens again and it’s complete insanity!!! Happy to see this video and can’t wait to try each step. BTW I can’t get the breast URL to work. All the others come up just fine.

Love your videos, so brilliant keep it going! x
Calling them hot "flashes" makes sense to me b/c I can literally fan them away in just a minute or two. I don't get them at night, thank goodness. I don't recall my mother getting them at all. Getting older is hard but I am working now to accept it and embrace it with grace, gratitude, and humor. Keeping positive, watching my diet, getting enough sleep, exercising for fun and relaxation, and training my mind to stay relaxed and calm are key contributors. It also helps to find a doctor who specializes in the care and treatment of seniors. Good luck and God bless.

Hi, First, thank you for your video, it is very helpful. Regarding the Effisoy, what are your thoughts on taking a DHMA supplement?
DHEA is both a natural hormone and popular supplement that can affect the levels of other hormones in your body. It has been studied for its potential to increase bone density, decrease body fat, improve sexual function and correct some hormonal problems.

Melissa I love your videos and you are very informative! What do you think of coffee enemas I have been doing them for over 3 months and I don’t get hot flashes! But my memory is really bad! Iam going to incorporate the milk thistle and dandelion tea and primrose oil from another video I watched of yours! Iam 59 years old and almost 2 years into menopause!! The coffee enemas has helped with any anger issues and bloating! I feel relaxed but perhaps my cortisol must be off! I cannot handle stress! Iam taking something for progesterone it’s called progestelle. Have you heard of that?

Does this also apply to women who have had hysterectomies?
Just found you. I had a total hysterectomy so I often wonder if supplements that help the uterus and ovarian are applicable. I take bio identical troches for hot flashes. Is it possible to balance through lifestyle and supplements to get off bio identicals? Hot flashes were a definite problem before the troches. Thanks
Thank u
I love to get. A kit from you!

I am drinking dandelion tea ones a day , no changes yet. I think i need to take liver supplements ? Thank you . Great information!
I did try 2 different liver supplements ...they quite expensive after 3 months and around 250$ there are 0 changes. My hot flashes are every couple hours, nothing changed. I think they waist of money
Where do you get the tea
Thank you for this information. Very insightful. I have a question do you think there might be a link between high intense exercise and rising cortisol in perimenopausal women?
Claudia Acevedo that’s a great question and one I’m thinking about bc I take 4 classes a week & it’s pretty intense cardio 🤭
Claudia Acevedo Excellent question! I’ve read that it raises cortisol but never really factored cortisol into menopause issues before watching this. There are other videos (Dr Axe Dr Berg etc that talk about HIIT/interval training & cortisol on UA-cam. Maybe Melissa has videos under her channel name.)
Depending on the intensity of exercise, it can increase or decrease cortisol. Intense exercise increases cortisol shortly after exercise. Although it increases in the short term, nighttime levels later decrease . This short-term increase helps coordinate growth of the body to meet the challenge

But as I read thro the comments box, someone asked a question about the links of vitamin D3 to cancer triggers for African Americans which was not responded to. what do you think of LadyCare? :) Thank you
If you do opt to try the magnet, LadyCare advise that you persevere to allow time for it to work. The makers say that it can take up to three months of continual wear to experience the full benefits.
There are other natural alternatives to HRT, so it's worth doing your research before you invest in a magnet.
As with anything regarding your health, you should speak to your GP if you have any questions or queries regarding the menopause, especially if you are considering coming off HRT

Iron and B12 levels during menopause
This can lead to an increased risk of B12 or iron deficiency, both of which are known to contribute to hair loss. Many women also find it difficult to lose weight during menopause, so make changes to their diet, which can lead to nutrient deficiencies.

She's knows her stuff she's a very wise Doctor!! All sounds good. Thanks for the video. Doc.
I would like to see her medical license and diploma. It should be hanging on the wall or visible at the beginning of the video. She's not a real doctor. This is a scam. She makes her money selling supplements and at-home test kits. Plus, I don't think real doctors are authorized to practice medicine across state lines, like attorneys, but not totally sure.
@@firehorse9996 She's a holistic doctor. Better than a real doctor who gives no FKS about you. They put you on a bunch of pills with side effects, estrogen made from the urine of abused horses. No thank you. The supplements are not hers. The saliva test, is a lab, any doctor you go to will have you take labs. Western doctors are horrific, good luck if that's the choice you make, your life.
Hi Dr. I am from Houston and I am an athlete. I've been suffering for a year and half with water in my body. I can not take anything that helps me with hot flashes, because it makes the water increases even more. I did use the paletes last year and I gained 13 pounds of water in less than a month, even eating really clean. I've tried keto for a month (hated) and I didnt lose a pound. did vegan for 2 months and I my breast got very tender because of soy and I had to stop and I didnt lose a pound. Also I did Intermittent Fasting for 2 weeks and I didnt lose a pound. I cant sleep and i cant get rid of the water. What should I do? I am about to do the DUTCH test that my nutritionist want me to do.
I absolutely love your videos! You really get women obviously because you're a doctor in your train but I think you take it to the next level of understanding women and I want to thank you for that! I have a question and it might sound crazy and it might be conspiracy theorist bass but I'm sorry I heard that vitamin D3 and African-Americans activates the cancer cells? And that we should get vitamin D from the Sun and never ever take a supplement? I want to know if that is true and if I could do the other two things instead of taking the vitamin D3 thank you
Aset Kemet No it doesn’t activate cancer. D3 is necessary for prevention. The best method for getting proper doses (esp African Am)is to sit in afternoon sun/arms torso/legs exposed (not just face) for 30 minutes. Get your levels tested first before supplementing & use a USP certified vitamin supplement that includes of combo D3/K2.

HOW TO MAKE IT
If your garden is already flooded with dandelions, you don’t need to rely on store-bought tea (just make sure you or someone else hasn’t treated your lawn with chemicals):
Flowers and Leaves: Wash, then let steep in hot water for 15-20 minutes.
Roots: Wash very thoroughly, chop into fine pieces, and heat on high in an oven for about two hours. Steep 1-2 teaspoons in hot water for about 10 minutes.

If the underactive thyroid isn't caused by iodine deficiency, then iodine supplements give no benefit and shouldn't be taken. In fact, for some people with an underactive thyroid, too much iodine can cause or worsen their condition.

Because your uterus is removed, you no longer have periods and cannot get pregnant. But your ovaries might still make hormones, so you might not have other signs of menopause. You may have hot flashes, a symptom of menopause, because the surgery may have blocked blood flow to the ovaries.

Could postmenopausal hormone imbalance cause frequent finger and toe infections?
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out. Postmenopausal hormone imbalance can potentially impact various aspects of your health, including your immune system. Hormones play a role in immune function, and changes in their levels can affect how your body responds to infections. However, frequent finger and toe infections could also be influenced by other factors such as overall immune health, hygiene, and any underlying medical conditions.
It's a good idea to consult with me so that I can evaluate your specific situation and provide personalized guidance. I can help determine the root cause of your frequent infections and recommend appropriate steps to address them. bit.ly/3EmExdU
