Another fascinating piece Ron. Sometimes it's the most fascinating figures who sadly die young but leave a mystique behind. I visited the Perelachaise cemetery in Paris in October 1989 on a foggy day. There were a few huddled around his grave and the aroma of marijuana was in the air. It was surreal but also poignant. There is mystery around his death very definitely. The aristocratic drug dealer Jean de Breteuil fled Paris shortly after Jim died and he himself succumbed in Morocco in 1971 and at the same age 27. But the mystique of Morrison and the haunting music of The Doors live on to perhaps the end of days 🏛🌻🍷🎭

Thanks Ron, you got me interested in Jim's work. I googled. There are some strange things about his death ,one of them
is certainly why they didn't do otopsy. Tomorrow I gonna see the movie ,The Doors. Love Val and Jim. So thanks.

Hi Ron, I’m on holiday in Spain but from England (London) and have just discovered you! OMG I’ve always wanted to go to LA to see these sights but I’ve got young children so I have to read about it instead for now. Thank you! I really appreciate you for doing this. I can go now with you as my guide. 😀

Laurel Canyon seemed to be a popular place of residence for musicians in the 60s.

I believe the night club heroin story holds some weight due to Marianne Faithful eventually opening up about what occurred. Pam at the apartment stoned on smack and Jim out at the Rock n Roll Circus night club on the evening in Paris. The story goes Jim scored ( perhaps for Pam ) and snorted it in the bathroom of the night club. The smack was 'China White' very strong and Jim overdosed. He collapsed and died with white frothy foam around his mouth and some blood from his nose. I believe Jim was not a junky, god knows why he snorted it. Apparently even some of the hardened junkies were overdosing on this china white. Rock n Roll is full of tragedy with many taken so young.

Hi, Just found your channel. If money was no object, I would like to buy the house that was owned by film producer Paul Bern (Jean Harlowe's husband) and Jay Seabring. Last I heard it was owned by a doctor.

A lot of bs. Never fully understood the mystique of this man. Mediocre talent in my opinion. Yes, alcohol is poison and can affect someone’s personality-shocker!! Definitely a sign of the times. These days would be just another drunk, drug addled celebrity
