Damn that guitar is so badass it must be really cool to have that guitar and it sounds so damn awesome and great vid btw 🤘🤘🤘 Also when you said you brought that guitar to tour what strings did you use and how was the condition of the strings at that time?

On the guitar I actually had D’Addario EXPs on (affiliate links in the description) and i try to keep my strings (at least on the guitars I use constantly like the black Les Paul, the black RR1 and now hopefully the Brian May Guitar) under 3 months old if they are coated and under 1 month if not coated. I made a video about the lifespan of strings you can find it here ua-cam.com/video/10Ex0cfEu8M/v-deo.html 🤘

Sound and feel will change (and sometimes pull or "resistance" will be different too) But sisnce you asked for my recommendation, I would definitely recommend D'Addarios XTs or NYXLs, they are AWESOME. They are a little bit pricier than regular guitar strings but definitely worth it, especially on a guitar like this! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Sounds like you got a good deal...these have been steadily rising in value. Mine is now worth 3x what I paid in 2008
I owned a 1985 Jackson USA custom Rhoads I build my own guitars now they play better and cheaper to build myself
Nice! Just like building a house… it’s obviously cheaper and better to do it yourself, it just takes time, practice, talent and a hefty investment on machinery to get really good at it! I’d love to check out one of your builds one day!
Damn that guitar is so badass it must be really cool to have that guitar and it sounds so damn awesome and great vid btw 🤘🤘🤘
Also when you said you brought that guitar to tour what strings did you use and how was the condition of the strings at that time?
The guitar is Sweeeeet!!! I made a video about the lifespan of strings you can find it here

That was about 10 years ago. I have no idea

What a guitar
Damn straight!!!
can you please tell me the price of this custom guitar?
I don’t sell them but it’s listed on the Jackson website for $3999.99 plus tax
@@PatPosseI have an another question, If I custom made Jackson RR3, It will be the same price or more cheaper than Jackson RR1 price ?
@@al-razifaruq258 RR3s are not custom or USA made. They are made in Japan and they are a lot cheaper. They are also Bolt-on necks and 2 or three piece body. Usually rosewood fretboard, not ebony and of course, no mother of pearl inlays. They are great guitars nevertheless.
try out the rr120 grover jackson
I would love to but I can’t afford to buy one now 😣
Is spensive? these RR?? Is sale in $4000?

I love this guitar but I really want 24frets.
I hear ya. I thought about it before buying it for a long time. Now I own 2 🤷🏻♂️🤣. Almost all my guitars are 22 frets and I’m ok with it. I get that you WANT 24 frets but do you NEED them? I’ve had many 24 fret guitars but I’ve only kept one. I don’t think I ever play that high.
@@PatPosse I honestly rarely use the 24th fret but when I do I like it 🤷🏻♂️🤣
@@vano4375 hahaha I knew it! But I understand what you mean!

For me, old strings sounds better here...😅
That CAN happen, we are all different. But if you record it’s nearly impossible to replicate that tone later on.
Those have less treble than the old strings
I think you heard it wrong.
Ehh rather have a dimeslime
Fuck that shit!
