Dilute it 4:1 for the fabric or vinyl stuff, agitate it, lets it sit a min and wash it iff with water. It will degrease a car engine or the kitchen stove. Get the small pump spray bottle to refill or just to try it out. I use it to take brake dust of my car wheels, doesn't stain paint either.
I'm a second generation marine mechanic. My dad was telling me about a time he had to replace an engine block located under the bedroom floor of a 50 foot yacht and down a small flight of stairs. After the CO detection device, install all new exhaust hoses and all water lines from the seacocks to engines, generator, and ac units. Make sure all the seacocks can be closed and opened and service them. Also very important to inspect your shore power cords. Both ends of the cords and the inlets in the boat. A lot of times people don't secure the lock rings, the cords droop, and get hot. Dangerous if not caught.

I have that exact same make and model mini fridge. Having the door fall off is a common problem because it’s metal rod axles on just really cheap plastic hinges. The door does have ambidextrous mounting hinges so you can just mount the door on the other side plus the hinges seem to hold up after being literally superglued back together but I don’t blame you for ditching it. Also those Pepsis are probably still good they are aluminum cans after all
Actually you could clean that boat out in a couple of weekends tops. Talk to the harbormaster and see if you could park a small skip in a parking bay next to the gate. Then throw everything away that isn't either screwed to the boat or obviously expensive to replace. In fact I would keep the fridge. Just throw everything in it out, repair the hinges and hit the inside with peroxide. There's boats like this in every marina, you really scored well Wizard. The dock roof cover absolutely saved this old boat. Well done.
Love the new Trojan boat guys! You guys are really going to enjoy that. And I’m looking forward to seeing it be transformed. Just a note to Mrs. wizard, about the venetian blind on the door aft of the boat. There’s nothing worse than a clanging Blind when you shut the door. I would suggest replacing it with an opaque film. You can get some relatively inexpensive decorative film at Home Depot.

I know it’s his life and his own business, but when you put out videos with a forum for comments, do not tell me that I should mind my own business and do not find fault with such a great mechanic. I personally like Mr. and Mrs. Wizard and wish them success and happiness, but there are caveats to consider in all endeavors in life. Good like to you guys. ,

Mrs W and Mr W prize for working their butts off bringing us content. And you can create more content. Win/win. Good luck with your new boat and I appreciate the high quality of your video productions. You guys rock. I did laugh when you warned of the mess inside. Nothing compared to a boat that was flipped at least once and deposited in the mangroves after a hurricane. That was a mess.
And immediately service your Velvet Drive cast iron V drive units. I cant tell if they are Velvet Drive or Paragon. But both are hard to find parts for and very expensive to rebuild. Change the fluid and check the engine alignment. One of you engines is probably a counter rotation (RH) engine. Keep that in mind when servicing it. I can probably provide you with some engine manuals and transmission manual.
Trojan BOATs of that era were very well built. Timeless design IMO. Congratulations you finally have a real boat, enjoy! Your tlc will be well worth It. If the boat was left in the water this entire time you should pull the boat at the end of the season to check for blistering, new anti fouling, zincs, etc.
find a big trailer and tow that thing to your shop. And put it inside it. Might want to pressure wash it outside first. Working on a boat while it's in the water is a pain. The catwalks along the side of the berth are limited to where you can reach from them. Sometimes marinas will pull the boat out and park it on foam blocks so you can work on it more easily in a area they have around their facility for that purpose. Although that boat is probably too heavy for their biggest fork lift. Then they use those hoists.
Honestly, it looks like a nice, dirty boat. With a power wash and some interior cleaning, I can imagine it would make a nice boat for some great weekend cruising.
That is a cool yacht Car Wizard. It will take a lot of elbow grease but will be great once you get it cleaned up and replace some of the appliances, etc.

That boat wood be trash if it were in salt water or on. The Coast
Well done.
Dear car wizard, you can officially graduate to getting a second channel.
" 36 feet long, a yacht, finally a real yacht" almost bud. Technically still a Cabin Cruiser. happy for you though
Its a boat. A yacht has sails with no engine.
@@nickwood8694 Found the blow boater! lol
I'd call it an Express Cruiser with that elevated helm and no flying bridge, but potato/potahto.
@@nickwood8694 No... but ok.
@@nickwood8694 Very few mega yachts have sails. Are they not yachts?
That will be a great bit for you and the family, congrats! Really looking forward to seeing her all fixed up.
Clicked fast than Hoovie buys a another wreck
Calling them wrecks is being kind. Hoovie just enjoys getting kicked in the ballz all the time. Then again this can prove how much money people make producing videos on UA-cam🤔
Hoovie isn’t losing money. Even that ridiculous Maybach owes him less than it’s average sale value.
@@Dave5843-d9m well that would be the case with the Maybach if it didn't have a salvage title. In my opinion cars with a salvage title aren't worth nothing so to me he lost his ass some sucker may buy it just because and if so I feel sorry for whoever buys that POS😎
@@eppyz My bad. Forgot it’s been labelled salvage. But they are all POS even when fully bulled up.
I'm happy for you, CW. Its a great project. Whatever is usable to Goodwill or the local thrift store, send it that way, bro. As to the working fridge repair the broken hinge.
Wizard: Your Physc Dr here..... I have been watching your videos lately and it is evident you have not been taking the meds I prescribed you based on your THIRD Break Out Another Thousand purchase. Please call me immediately to schedule an emergency appointment.
You can clean the hull with Muriatic acid. Removes all stains safely. You just need to pressure wash it after with water to deactivate it.
That is going to be some satisfying pressure-washing footage.
Good on you mate.
Enjoy it!
Love your work ethic and your chanel.
Keep em coming.
All the best.
Stay safe!!
The Car Wizard has officially gone off his rocker. 😁😁
He’s changing his name to the boat wizard
I agree ! Three boats, the Ferrari, the Olds, the Harley, plus several more projects that I do not recall, plus all the videos and Hoovies cars! Does he even have time to do any work in his own garage plus any for his family ? I think he could be taking on too many activities to be enjoying life. I believe that these things are his recreational outlets, but maybe take a step back and rethink priorities. Good like to you guys.
,
I was thinking the same thing
@@MikeJohnson-ld9rn I think this is why he's taken on more staff - he's probably able to do less wrenching on customers vehicles and spend more time on the UA-cam channel and the projects he's documenting via it.
Wizard - Almost everything works
Refrigerator - Hold my beer
Hold my Pepsi
@@nslouka90 😂🤣
Hold my champagne. No really, I can't hold it.
Gonna be fun seeing what Mrs. Wizard does with that interior!
I look forward to see it all cleaned up and ready to go .
Nice yacht Mr. Wizard 🧙♀️
There's a saying over here - if it flies, floats or...something else I can't recall, don't buy it, rent it!!!
The answer also starts with an F and ends with an S
My version ends with "it's gonna cost you some dollars."
With its “ribbed” hull for rough waters, the Trojan 36’ glides on through.
find a big trailer and tow that thing to your shop.
"Trojan is the name of the boat not a not a prophylactic" Also it needs to be buffed lol
All nice and shiny...
Honestly, it looks like a nice, dirty boat. With a power wash and some interior cleaning, I can imagine it would make a nice boat for some great weekend cruising.
TWIN 440's?!?! Holy cow!
After your experience with the other two boats, renovating this one should be a piece of cake.
Wizard has the trifecta of boats now!
That is a cool yacht Car Wizard. It will take a lot of elbow grease but will be great once you get it cleaned up and replace some of the appliances, etc.
Twin 440s?
I’d love to see wich has the worse fuel economy. This or the yacht on B is for build.
They both get better than you would think
SUPER COOL PROJECT!!....Will be fun to see the BEFORE and AFTER!!
Would love too say I have slept on a big block 440 my self can’t wait for the next one thanks
Congrats on your purchase. I'm looking forward to the cleanup videos.
Wow, 15 minutes with a power washer it will look completely different.
That should clean up pretty nicely. Nice score Wizard. Some power washing and extra cleaning will make it look real awesome again.
If ever there was the perfect bed for the Car Wizard, here it is.
I really didn't anticipate the Wizard becoming the Hoovie of yachts
I’m dying to see it cleaned up my uncle had one new in the 70s. It was beautiful
I remember when we had to repair a Trojan on the dock. Beautiful boat!
Nothing that a good pressure washer won’t fix. Will be great
Whew! I remember when I had all of that energy.. I have a 47 footer I have not seen in four months. God bless y’all and have a good time on that water.
