I live only 10 miles from Montgomery but have never made it to the museum. Thank you, Jordan.
I remember the vlog you did of him when he was living in L.A. as a script writer for the movie studios. I think he wrote a letter to his daughter or someone that he wished he had not smoked. Gave him a bad heart. Wonderful vlog on this one. As all of them. Bless you.
You pick the most fabulous places to vlog, ty for taking us with you👍
That was a tragic marriage. They destroyed each other. She was a debutante , who never learned how to care for herself. They were both self destructive! Luv the museum!
Thanks for this vlog Jordan. I read the biographies of Scott and Zelda. Star crossed in so many ways, and of course the sadness of Zelda's mental collapse and death in a fire at the institution where she lived. Very talented people. Thanks again. Nancy from Vandalia
I would guess one of the bios would have been the book Zelda by Nancy Milford ? I believe. My husband gave it to me in the early 1970s and I became obsessed!
I loved Leo DiCaprio’s version of The Gatsby but I never knew of the private life of Gatsby or Zelda and time in sanitariums in Europe and the U.S. Just read up on her more on her Wikipedia bio. What a life they both led. Love the fashion of that time period. Too bad Scott never took her to Hollywood. Thank you for the tour. It took me back to another time. Now I am going to visit the online version of the museum gift shop you just showed and look at the jewelry and other items you mentioned.
What an incredible experience to actually be able to stay at the Fitzgerald home. That was so kind of them to open up the museum for you. I know I've said it before but that is one of your greatest attributes- the ability to make people trust in you and open up literally and figuratively about history they know and are guardians of. Another gem, my friend. Have a wonderful day. Blessings-Judith 🎵🎭
Jordan the magnitude of FS Fitzgerald and you being right there ! Terrific job loved it !!
Your last two Vlogs, in conjunction with your previous work on Fitzgerald, are an exceptionally valuable addition to the information currently held in the public domain regarding this author. By chance, BBC 4 screened a new documentary on Fitzgerald
this week - however it failed to break any new ground. In comparison, your Vlogs provide a unique insight into the writers life. They enable the viewer to experience the textures of his world, the views from his windows, the details of his everyday life that served as a backdrop for his creativity. Altogether they offer a superb compilation for anyone (academic or otherwise) attempting to understand how much the contemporary environment influenced one of the greatest writers of the twentieth century.
Thank you so much Jordan.
A friend of mine owned this house in the 1970s and rented it out to another good friend of mine. I spent many an hour in 1978-79 in that living room (the Gatsby Room) in the winter and on that sun porch in the spring and summer imbibing adult beverages. Fun times.
How lucky!!!
Beautiful Home and Museum. Jordan, Did you ever see the Movie, Midnight in Paris? with Owen Wilson? He goes back in time at the stroke of midnight, to meet F. Scott Fitzgerald, Hemingway, and many other famous people. I really loved the movie.
They were both so beautiful, and Zelda must have been petite - judging by her gorgeous dresses. I discovered 'The Great Gatsby' and 'The Diamond as big as the Ritz' long ago, and have never stopped loving these stories. Thank you so much Jordan for sharing your great privilege of a special, private viewing with us. Amazing! Love from Australia.
What a great museum and fun place to explore, we love learning about our history and the people who made it. That was so nice that you got the museum to open up for you, that was extremely nice.
I love fact you giving vlogs everyday like did five years ago thank you for just being you looking forward see this one
I learnt alot from this video Jordan, being a kiwi it was always British writers and stories . But this was special , what an amazing couple with so much talent ,but a sad ending. The museum is a treasure , let's hope this video will encourage alot more people to visit. 😊
Such a beautiful home and museum! I know I'll never look at the Great Gatsby the same after seeing all of the Fitzgerald's clothing and personal items. Absolutely love your vlogs!!❤
Obsessed! My husband gifted me with the biography ZELDA in the early 1970s and I devoured it! That led to reading F. Scott Fitzgerald’s bios and novels plus Zelda’s AND ALL associated with them! Thank you Jordan for ALL your blogs - discovered you in Hollywood and when you left I was like “that’s it” BUT I decided to travel with you! So glad I did!❤️
I'm going to the garage to find my copy of " Tender is the Night". Your vlogs do that. Good job
I love Zeldas style of painting.
I love Zelda's art. I had no idea she painted. Will have to learn more about her. There is a old coal mining town in AL on the Walker/Jefferson county line named Sayre. Growing up close to the town I have always thought her middle name was unusual because the town shared the name. Happy you got to go to the museum. Enjoyed it!
They made a show about her some on amazon called ‘Z: The Beginning of Everything’ it’s so good they’ve only made one season tho since 2015 which is so upsetting!!
@@Grayyy__ thanks for telling me. They have it available, I'll have to watch.

Hi Jordan, so pleased that you got to go round the Museum this time. I love it when we get to see peoples actual clothes, it makes you feel near them. What a great photo opportunity with those cardboard cut out's of them both. Loved Zelda's cigarette holder, so many lovely personal items of theirs, not to mention the beautiful old photos of them. Nice that not everything is in cabinets or roped off. Great vlog Jordan.
This is so great you get to see the museum & stay in the house what a treat ! I always love the clothing, both my grandmothers had those beaver coats, one had a an artic wolf wrap or mink color. I tried them on they were very heavy.
This vlog was lovely. I love the Fitzgerald and you did them justice
I have been watching your channel for about 3 years and this has to be in the top 10. Great job Jordan. Keep them coming
I loved the paintings by Zelda, everything in the house was so interesting but the paintings really told a story all on their own.
La schizophrénie de Zelda leur a confère un aspect déroutant et très intéressant....
Amazing vlog!! I love seeing the home and the museum. What an incredible collection of memorabilia. I find it even better that the museum is a house they used to to live in. Yeah
I totally agree . It made it so much more special to me
I've got the original Biography book 1972 it was in my dad's book collection, Don Henley wrote a song call " witchy women" after he read the same book, his copy as I have my own copy. Thanks for sharing Jordan. 👍
A very special two-part vlog. Thank you!
Jordan, I love the books by F. Scott Fitzgerald and Zelda, so this was such a wonderful experience to see this museum and one of their homes. Thank you.
I really enjoyed this, thank you! Scott Fitzgerald is my all-time favourite author. Greetings from South Africa
Stunning house and a very interesting museum.
Awesome job Jordan love the post cards and a very good tour of the fitzgerald house
It was so interesting to see all of the artifacts from the Fitzgeralds in the museum. I love places like that where you can be up close to their personal possessions and you got to spend the night there! I live in Wilmington Delaware and the Fitzgeralds also lived here for a short time. In 1927, his Princeton roommate, John Biggs, a local lawyer suggested they live on the river in Wilmington. Scott had just finished The Great Gatsby and had begun to work on Tender is the Night. It is said they had wild parties and their New York friends would take the train down to Ellerslie, the Fitzgeralds home. Ernest Hemingway spent the night with them after watching the Yale-Princeton football game. Unfortunately, the house fell into permanent disrepair and was torn down in the 1970s. Great history for our little state!
Hey Jordan. Just wanted to tell you that I appreciate all the videos and exploring you do for all of us. Thanks so much for bringing entertainment and history to our homes. Be safe and many blessing to all your future endeavors.
Semper Fi
Nice of the folks to open the museum for the vlog. Hopefully this gets more exposure to those who appreciate such authors as Fitzgerald.
Thank you to the museum staff for opening the museum for us to see it. Zelda has some beautiful dresses. What a lovely museum. They had a lot of great things. Did you hear any ghosts? Thanks for bringing us along. Stay safe and take care.
What an amazing experience you shared with us Jordan!
Wonderful tour provided by Jordan, in an amazing museum! Love the Zelda & Scott Fitzgerald museum! Awesome job!
Thank you for this. The museum is a wealth of history for an amazing era. I'll never get there but seeing it through your eyes is the next best thing.
I just wanted to thank you for your videos my biggest dream from when I was little is to visit the US, for some reason I have always felt as though I belong there. Now the older I am getting the further the dream is becoming and by watching your videos I feel like I am getting to see so much of the US, so thank you.
This was a great vlog, Jordan! F. Scott and Zelda were such a creative and talented couple. It's wonderful to see that their home has been preserved and turned into a fantastic museum. Would love to see it in person one day!!!
So interesting. How neat that you were able to sleep there too. I'm sure it added quite another dimension to your experience. I really appreciate the respect you show towards all the people and places that you vlog.
Amazing thank you very much
Interesting place. Thanks for taking us there. Be safe Jordan and hug Jah for me.
So interesting to see! I mentioned yesterday that I was born in Montgomery (but grew up in Jonesboro, GA where you also were recently). I noticed where Zelda had written in the front of the yearbook, “Sydney Lanier High School.” That is where my Dad graduated high school as well. It’s right down the road from where you were and it’s surprising to me how large it was! I looked it up on Google Maps to see it. Also, of note, that is where Toni Tennille (of Captain and Tennille) graduated high school as did our beloved Hank Williams. And to think, this house was just right up the street! Thanks for the vlog.
Great vlog it was nice to see all their own thing that was their
Fascinating museum! Thank you so much. I have a friend named Scott Fitzgerald. I don’t know if he was named after this famous one though. 😊🦋
Nice
Zelda had great intensity and a rich talent.
A truly excellent vlog. Thanks so much. Fitzgerald is my favorite fictional writer, and it's great fun to see all the memorabilia connected to his life.
I still have a beat-up New Directions Paperback purchased in the early 1960s and entitled "The Crack Up." It's full of notes and autobiographical pieces. One of my favorite notes is: "The kiss originated when the first male reptile licked the first female reptile, implying in a subtle, complimentary way that she was as succulent as the small reptile he had for dinner the night before." LOL! Wonderful!
Thank you for doing this .... it's so good. ✌
Awsome just love that old history ❤ thank you Jordan 💙
Jordan-you have the most brilliant and unique ideas for video content! Thanks for bringing so much joy to everyone’s life!
Wild Jordan, I didnt know where F.S.F. house was. When I google it ,find its right around the corner from me. I live on California St. Thanks for filming 🎥this. Love you. Thanks for coming to Alabama. Hope to see you again here.
You should plan to go to Asheville, NC for Zelda Fitzgerald Week. It is always the week of March 10 (the anniversary of her death in the Highlands Hospital fire). They have a week long celebration of "all things Zelda".
Another great vlog Jordan. So glad that they opened up the museum for you. Do you plan on visiting their gravesites someday?
Very interesting.. you describe your surroundings so well.. Thank you
You must visit Rowan Oak, the home of William Faulkner in Oxford, MS. It’s very unique and besides, Oxford and Ole Miss/The Univ. of Mississippi are very beautiful and filled with much history including being home to several movie locations like, “Intruders in the Dust”, “Home from the Hill”, “Heart of Dixie”, “The Gun in Betty Lou’s Handbag”.
Hi! Jordan your great 👍 love the videos and Jah. Congratulations on your new life. God Bless 😂

Did you ask or find out why they are buried in Rockville Maryland along with their daughter? is it because of Francis Scott Key. and that side of his family? Awesome tour thanks Jordan
What a tremendous museum with a great collection of artifacts. F. Scott Fitzgerald was a great writer for all times.

He never drank when he wrote.
I read the great Gatsby in high school
Very cool 😎
Dwight Eisenhower was F. Scott's drill instructor.
Really?! I've never heard that
It is driving me crazy. What was the best book her mom ever read! Thank you
Good vlog ..
💜.
I never heard of these people. What were they famous?
They are authors....
This author wrote well and he wasn't appreciated too much in his time, but his novels are like a time capsule of that period, his wife was a writer as well. He struggled with the poor/rich dichotomy in America that is timeless. Although some writers have written novels using words from back then, his were not in a hard to read language. Some people can picture themselves back in the time of his novels, as he paints a scene with words so well
I love Zelda the video game.. 🤭
great photos and history telling, thanks for the tour.
