That house is exquisite, and with so much of America's history being lost it's nice to see something like this, honoring the wonderful people who lived there. Good job as always Jordan!
Love how they fixed up the whole house. So glad it was saved from getting destroyed. The bedrooms are so beautiful. Love the Christmas decorations in the rooms and in the museum. Wishing you, Jah and your family a very blessed New Year. It’s special being able to spend the night there. Thank you Jordan
Oh my, my heart loves this entire vlog. I so want to be there with you to experience the history in this lovely home. Zelda's living area stole my heart but then, so did F. Scott's . What a lovely place to tour and stay while there. "Thank you" once again for making this old gal smile. lol
I lived on Woodward Avenue a block south of the Fitzgerald house in the '70s and a good friend owned this house at the time and rented it out as two apartments. I spent many an evening sipping Old Foresters and water in that sun room on the left side, which was rented out to another good friend. Good times.
Wow! I didn't even know this museum existed. What a wonderful tour & my word, it's such a gorgeous home. You point out all the lovely details, especially those rugs! And the floors, the woodwork around the doors, the views etc. A home that truly would never go out of style. It's like they were a bit ahead of their own times with these homes when they were built. It's an antique now, but who wouldn't love to live there?! Anyway, The Great Gatsby was the book that started my love for reading & the lead to my eventual preference for historical fiction (big Ken Follett fan). Reading was always a chore, I dreaded it as a kid & struggled in school, but when I read Gatsby and then The Beautiful and Damned during HS, it just kicked off this fiery passion for reading. I hadn't really taken school all too seriously, & I was ADHD (still am?), but that changed with F. Scott Fitzgerald. I really credit him for my "shaping up" in school because I realized that I was absolutely capable. I was a late bloomer, but I ended up in college & now live this wonderful life (in my 40s now 😉). It's interesting the things or circumstances that alter our lives. Anyway, here's the Fitzgerald house & I wasn't even aware of it. So, thank you! Instant sub right here!
So glad you made this New Years visit. The house was just perfect. The staff obviously spent a good deal of time and thought ensuring the Christmas decorations were in keeping with the spirit of the house. Jordan, this production is yet another excellent addition to your back catalogue of F. Scott Fitzgerald documentaries. Once more you have provided an insight into the environment that formed the backdrop of the writers daily life. Also your attention to the 'unseen' detail, such as 'the floor has a slight lean to it' enables us to become totally immersed in the experience. I truly hope this time next year all Covid restrictions will be a thing of the past and the Fitzgerald house can celebrate in true 'Jazz Age' style. For the present, I like to imagine the ghosts of Scott and Zelda silently waltzing together through the house while the old year turned into 2022. Many thanks for this Vlog Jordan.
That was so nice of them to invite you to stay in the newly decorated suite of Zelda Fitzgerald absolutely gorgeous apartment. Thanks for sharing this wonderful video, you said you would return, and it was well worth the wait. If ever I was to come to the USA I would love to stay there . Such a fan of the Fitzgeralds, so it would be a dream come true. 💛 this year has come off to a great start. 💙💚🧡👍🦋
How incredible. Thank you so much for coming back here Jordan. I hope you can come back one day for their party. They have really presented a wonderful slice of life from Scott and Zelda. Did you do a tree for your first Christmas in your home or were you out of town visiting your mom and grandpa or on the road? I was curious if you did a tree, how you decorated it and what colors you used since you have a good eye for decor. Have a great night and thank you for sharing this. Blessings - Judith 🎭🎵
This was a wonderful tour of the ZELDA suite inside the Fitzgerald Museum in Montgomery, Alabama. What a lovely historic home with amazing displays of F.Scott and Zelda’s clothing, writings, artifacts and decorated for the holidays was very special, indeed. Thank YOU Jordan the Lion! Cheers from Old Highway 66 in central Oklahoma!
Jordan, I know this comment has nothing to do with the current video and honestly I’m waaaay back on the video where you went to echo park … but I just wanted to tell you that I watched my man Godfrey tonight and loved it so much. I made my husband watch it too and he grinned and said “that Jordan has been right about every movie you have forced me to watch. He’s got great taste “. Thanks ..again. 👍
Thanks for the tour, I didn't know about this place. I read a few of Fitzgerald's novels,it started my interest in the 1920s and all of it's beauty and decadence.
Jordan, what an amazing tour! I loved the home and Christmas decorations! I know that you enjoyed staying in Scotts's room! Both of their room were so classy, gorgeous and welcoming! Happy New Year 2022 to you, your family and Jah! 🎈🎉🥰🎉🎈
@Jordan Have a great start to the New Year 2022! 🍀🍀 Wishing you luck and that all your wishes and travel destinations you want to travel to may come true. 🗽⛩🚄🚙✈🚢 You made my day with your vlog about the Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald Museum. Looking foward to see Jah again 🐕😊 Kind regards from Germany.
The Fitzgerald House is so beautiful. The Christmas decorations and the furnishings are out of this world gorgeous. I would rather stay at the Fitzgerald house because of all the character, then any expensive hotel anywhere. To bad that the New Years party had to be canceled, I think the party would have been awesome. Thanks for showing us!
Bob I totally agree with you 💯%🙂. Happy New Year to you and your family. Guess we can always be there in our Dreams. Well Jordan did take us there. It was Beautiful and Magical.✌❤🦋🌠🌞. Peace, light, love and positivity always. Neita James. 🙂👋.
What a gorgeous place! This house is absolutely fantastic and full of history. So glad you got to stay there and thanks for sharing it with us, Jordan. Hope you had an awesome new Year's Day!!!
💋Great vlog! One of my favorite authors. I know quite a bit about His and Zelda’s life. Thanks again. Loved the other vlog too back when you did it. Been with you since the beginning. I stay because of your unique style both personally and artistically in vlogging. You’re the Best truly. Happy New Year to you and Jah. ~Love&Light♥️Carli
Hi Jordan, so pleased that you got stay there even though the party was cancelled. Oh, I love those benches by the trees, even if it was cold I would sit there for a while and take it in. I like how the suites haven't been over done with Christmas decorations. The whole suite is so cosy, all you need is a light snowfall and a hot chocolate. Great vlog Jordan.
Latest addition to my bucket list - only about a 6 hour drive from me, MUST go there and stay over - read ZELDA and that got me going with the Fitzgeralds in the early 1970s - so much history relating to them and me. KEEP UP the great work always - you're my UA-cam forever fav !!
What a super tour, Jordan! Your attention to detail is much appreciated. Love the decor over all. The pillows are very imaginative and the Christmas theme really well done. I could live in the two-bedroom easy. In case the museum staff views your wonderful vid, I do have two suggestions...1) Perhaps the washer and dryer could be hidden behind a period curtain. 2) Regarding the radio...be great if they could find a cd or cassette player which looks like a period radio and have programs from that era playing at the touch of a button. Plus, if it is on a cd, I remember running across a recording (maybe a UA-cam) of F. Scott Fitzgerald reading something. His voice sounded so different from what I'd imagined. Thanks so much, Jordan! And kiss Jah for me.
Loved this tour and the decor of the rooms. We have a few period pieces in our own home which made us feel more connected to that Fitzgerald era and ambience. So beautifully decorated. Very memorable vlog for sure. Thanks Jordan, you lucky guy❣️🙏🏻May your travels continue to be adventurous and exciting. ⭐️✨
And just a side note, as a kid I remember seeing the few photos of Fitzgerald around the library in books & how much older he was. He was an old man. But in actuality he was a young man & that's how I see him today. Sure was a handsome fellow & Zelda of course is very beautiful. They were a striking couple!
Just Beautiful. It make me feel as if I was there. I love the fireplaces.i might not want to leave. Thanks Jordan.for showing this Beautiful Historic Home. I'm sure they were very happy there. Zelda is such a Beautiful name. I have a cousin named Zelda.Happy New Year to You,Jah, and your family. Have a Beautiful Prosperous New Year. May all your Adventures in 2022 be Happy and Fun ones. So is this The picture, or A copy of the one we saw yesterday? I'd Love to walk the Grounds.wonder if there was a Well or Water Pump there at one time. Guess now I'm curious🙂. Take care and be Safe. Love, respect and Positivity Always.✌👍💯❤. Neita James and family. 🙂🧘♀️🦋🌠🌟👌👋.
yes I remember last time you showed this marvelous home. loved Zelda's room beautiful so lovely. the painting of Zelda is very nice, what a lovely lady. that's one thing about an old home they do have character. wow I've been hearing that the nasty Covid is acting up again. geezzzz. well stay safe Jordan and Happy New Year !!!!!

Happy New Year Jordan the Fitz museum was beautiful to see and it was a great video. I love this video and thank you again for showing us how they decorative for the holidays. Jordan keep these awesome videos coming for us to watch,
Jordan I really love the fact that you talk about all these great writers and historical figures. Now I want to add this to my bucket list. Sometimes I see you talk about someone and I want to share my thoughts but you turn the comments off.😟 I loved your vlog on Bukowski! I became interested in him when I saw the documentary. My favorite poem is so now? Thank you for doing this! Now I want to rewatch that documentary!
Happy New Year to You and Yours Old Sport!! This Side of Paradise is still on my list of favorite books, it was an influence on a few Beat writers as well as others. I forgot you had stayed there before so it was nice to revisit it. My real question is, Did you hear a few extra glasses clinking when the clock struck Midnight as you raised a Toast to the New Year? I'd like to think they were raising a glass right along with you! Thank you, as always. Be well Old Sport!
Thankyou Jordan most enjoyable.Know little or nothing about F.Scott Fitzgerald I'm ashamed to say.I remember a film with Gregory Peck but am not sure I'm right.Still enjoyed your visit & thankyou. 😁😁😘😘
You are doing a great job documenting the historical sites especially in Hollywood. I enjoyed your video on Chaplin. You might want to know that the town of Sunol & Niles Calif. outside of Fremont, Ca was the home of a studio that Chaplin filmed at. This town still honors their short time in the limelight.
hi jordan and jah!! what a glamorous house!! exquisite!! wonderful that you got to spend the night!! in the Zelda suite!!❤❤ cool!!! thanks jordan, hugs and kisses to you!! peace ✌out!!

Another awesome video Jordan! Happy New Year! Love GA, use to live in a little town called, “Dacula “. They would say, Dacula Dabetter. Soooo much to see and do in GA and so close to TN, AL and the Carolina’s.
How appropriate that they chose the "Scott" brand of toilet paper for the bathroom in the Scott suite. I wonder whether that was intentional. (Cf. 23:54)
Thanks Jordan, that was absolutely fantastic! Happy New years to you, jah significant other and family! May the New Year bring peace, Joy and good health.

Hi everybody
Wonderful video !!! ❤️❤️🥳🥳🥳🥳🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Nice 😀
Was hoping to see the garden lights in the dark like you said ;)
None came on..
I've put that on my list of places to stay .
I once read the house he lived in at Princeton was torn down but wish I knew for sure.
How appropriate that they chose the "Scott" brand of toilet paper for the bathroom in the Scott suite. I wonder whether that was intentional. (Cf. 23:54)
Very nice!!!
Thanks Jordan, that was absolutely fantastic! Happy New years to you, jah significant other and family! May the New Year bring peace, Joy and good health.
Princess Zelda, from the Nintendo games, was named after Zelda Fitzgerald.
So they only lived there 6 months? Were they renting? Beautifully decorated.
Yes, they didn't live anywhere very long..
I knew it lol
Must have been noon when you recorded this, with ringing of the church bells. What else would you have in the lavatory, but Scott tissue.
No, it was actually about 3p, but they rang for quite a while
They only lived there for 6 months? Where did they live the rest of the time?
They only lived there for 6 months?
I am ashamed to say I'm from Alabama, lived in Montgomery for years and have never been in that house.😒
