  • Why Turkiye is Opposing the India-Middle East-Europe Corridor | Vantage with Palki Sharma
    Turkiye's President Erdogan has responded to the recently announced India-Middle East-Europe economic corridor.
    He is reportedly opposing the idea of this trade route as it doesn't include Turkiye. Erdogan has, instead, suggested an alternative corridor.
    Palki Sharma explains.
    Turkiye | Economic Corridor | BRI | India | Middle East | Europe | Firstpost | World News | Vantage | Palki Sharma

      Please do more about the besieging of 120,000 starving Armenians in Artsakh (also known as Karabakh). Besieged and isolated since December, 2022, the Artsakh stronghold is starving, without medicine, and nearly out of drinking water. It's a 21st Century Azerbaijani Armenian Genocide Project.

  • @froodtube
    @froodtube 8 місяців тому +81

    Build them all. The more options and the less manipulation and control any single one has the better for all. If Iran controlled Iraq wants to create problems or Turkey wants to be an obstructionist to try and milk more of the profits from its 'trade route' use one of the others. Having competition is a good thing, even if the developers of each individual project don't like it because it reduces the projections of their viability.

      Sooo -will YOU foot the billions and billions in cost to build multiple expensive parallel gigaprojects? Which WILL make each other much less efficient by redirecting shares of the trade flowing through?
      Would you buy three bridges where one suffices? and why?
      Not all that well thought-out, your idea.

    • @froodtube
      @froodtube 8 місяців тому +3

      @@user-un8tv1pp8m Nope. Not one cent of it directly. Indirectly I absolutely will pay for it by buying the goods delivered via the various routes.
      Obviously the people funding each individual route want to have the sole route and exclusivity. This is good for them at my expense and the expense of whatever country's don't own the route.
      India and Europe would be idiots to rely solely on a Chinese owned and controlled route.
      Any exclusive route that goes through Turkey is bad for anybody not named Turkey as they historically milk any situation.
      So yes, the best answer for trade is to build all routes even if that is not the best answer for each individual hoping to be a monopolist.

    • @aryaman05
      @aryaman05 8 місяців тому +2

      Exactly !
      1. Erdogan's proposal looks easier to pull off than the other one, except maybe for that short war zone at the border.
      2. Within Turkiye, Erduan says build, and they build. And even if the Corridor doesn't function as intended, it's useful infra for Turks anyway - think mil. logistics.
      3. Iraq needs that infra within its territory as well, if not for the Corridor, at least as basic infra. Erdogan would be more than happy to lay the tracks - just pay him in crude, which Iraq has plenty of.
      4. As for IMEEEC, IN-AE & IS-GK sea routes are already well established.
      5. Rail in AE has segments working and the rest WIP.
      6. IS - they'd probably get tracks laid and running in 2 weeks !
      7. MBS is in charge in SA, and he's very much into this. Besides, in itself, that stretch within SA provides good rail connectivity from one end of the state to the other. MBS would get it done.
      8. JO - I guess this is where everyone involved would probably need to chip in for the track laying and stuff, JO doesn't appear to gain much apart from rent.

The content of the reporting is truly awe-inspiring, and I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. Additionally, the Union Public Service Commission has delivered a remarkable report titled संघ लोक सेवा आयोग *How Britishers killed 1.8 billion Indians. We undervalue the reality that banks are corporate entities governed by greed as well. Banks have been over-leveraging their assets since 2020, which was one of the causes of SVB's demise. I've never felt comfortable with storing a lot of money in the bank. I simply invest through my financial advisor , all I do is to spend my ROI and then reinvest!

You cannot trust the USA or India to build rail or ports, can you? USA is broke! . IMEC will be full of aspirational statements, short on actual deliverables, and unlikely to provide commercially meaningful outcomes.
