Thank you for this video. It helped eliminate the noises from my driver side door panel on a 2009 Honda Fit. As a side note, I added Kilmat to the metal door. On the removable panel, I applied most of the techniques that were recommended in this video. I used the same tacky gummy black adhesive that I removed from the plastic sheet to deaden and "glue" in place the red plastic clips on the panel and it worked. All the red clips stayed in place and were no longer loose. Will repeat on the passenger door.

    2 Questions:
    1) Does using the window weld on the door side of the door panel clip (shown at 19:54 of your video) make it harder to take off the door if I need to remove it again? I understand using the WW on the panel side of the clip, that isn't meant to come off...but the clip is supposed to pull away from the door and it seems like the WW will cause this to be more difficult.
    2) Do you recommend putting some window weld along the top channel that slides over the door near the window slot? I have a Toyota Sienna and the door panel hangs on the edge and I suspect it rattles around on that surface, but much like question #1, I am concerned that using the WW on that junction will cause the door panel to be difficult to remove from the door later.

Hi Brother, I am in Riyadh and own a Honda Accord Coupe 2008. I have lots of rattling sound in my car. Specially from the back. Subwoofer also sounds bad. Please do advise me how can I open its door from top to bottom? for the rear portion, lots of cracking sound comes, can't figure out the reason.

It's not just the noise but window, tilting in mirror and even lock. Basically cutting off electronics for that door on a 2016 Buick Escalade

Hey mate, can't seem to get my hands on window weld ribbon sealer here in Australia. Do you know of any other alternatives or perhaps other names for the product you're using in this video. I'm trying to search for alternatives here in Aus. Cheers

Can I use a silicone window sealant instead of 3M's Windo-Weld? Or it wouldn't stick? Kinda hard to find 3M Windo-Weld around my place.

A car,I might add that we just got but that's the only issue. We do have extra insurance if anything happens but don't know if that will even cover

Quick update: for my Mazda3, I need to cover as much of the door panel with Kilmat because it's hard to tell where the rattle is coming from. I did this the 1st time and will have to go back and do it a 2nd time because I'm sure there are a few areas I missed. Mind you, I covered about 80 to 90% of the door panel. These car companies need to do a better job

Get some hard wax (crayon, candle, etc) and shave off tiny little pieces with a knife or anything sharp. Look for every clip or screw that have some play in them and heat it up a little with a heat gun and apply a little bit of the wax in between. Don't add too much where it might run when it gets hot, add just enough to give it a thin layer.

wax will never isolate as good as the 3M window weld I show in the video

Hoping someone can help me out. I have bass rattle coming from the lower b pillar on both driver and passenger side HOWEVER I only get the rattle when the door is closed. When it is open I hear no rattle. Would this procedure help me out? I have a crosstrek and the door panels appear to be really easy to take off so I don’t expect any issues there. HELP! LOL
