Needs work, top end rebuild on its way.
You should have just put the new carb on the way it came I guarantee you it would be fine I did this with mine and the new carb although looking different worked 100%

The throttle position sensor probably controls the ignition advance. My Honda VTX 1300 has a TPS on the carb and that's what it's for.
It works so I guess it must be about right?
any chance you can let us know what carb you used??
I ordered it from Aliexpress mate, just search "Kymco Agility Carb". There is loads on there, and cheap.
It cant do any harm to do the valve stem oil seals Carl
