Gear: medium-light
Rod: Savage gear squad 4-8kg, 7ft 3inch
Reel: Shimano fx 2500 with 20lb braid
Medium heavy surf
Rod: Penn spinfisher 12ft, 7-15kg
Reel: Penn wrath II 8000 with 50lb Shimano braid
Other rod
Rod: Shimano Viper fgx 6ft 6inch, 4-8kg bait rod
Reel: Shimano sienna 4000 with 30lb braid
The rig on the big rod was a 3 way swivel with 100lb leader and double snelled suicide size 4 hooks and 1 metre of 60lb leader with a 90gram star sinker attached as well to the 3 way swivel. Bait was live yellowtail scad and herring fillets
The rig on my medium light setup was a 3 hook weightless sabiki and a glow stick with small pieces of prawn.
