I got this 2 years ago but finally making it. Instead of 18 inchs tall I am making mine 9inches tall. How I did it is that I prebuilt the hand connected to the arm with pistons and same for the feet and legs. I used curas grouping. Turning out great and going faster than before when it was full scale.

Hello. I'm assembling this for a third party person that got the model for me, and it's a mix of cleverness and disastrous decisions.
So many faulty mechanisms like the Wrist and the shoulder engines hooks are rounded where it should be squared to avoid spin. The Wrists have a ball joint but it's useless as the rest of the joints are not flexible. The arms have a square joint where it should be as the Shoulder-Bicep mechanism. This model is definitively not designed for FDM printing AT ALL.
THe nails do not fit, etc. so many errors that should be corrected. You were noticed them if you print you own models

this was a terrible build. So frustrated to throw in the trash. Fitment was terrible with my resin printer. Im no longer going to print complicated builds. They are not worth it.

Thank you for stopping by and for revealing your interest in the T-800 Endoskeleton 3D Printing Figurine. Your attention to the model’s design and general outlook is appreciated, and we are grateful for your mindful comment regarding the connection of the model’s part. The author of the model indeed was creating the model from scratch, basically deriving inspiration from the iconic robot, yet without aiming to create the very exact duplicate. Either way, we appreciate your observant comment and will make sure to redirect your note to the model’s author for investigation. In case you have any questions, feel free to contact us at support@gambody.com or send a message via Facebook.🙂

This model was a nightmare. Printed everything out on my anycubic mono x and fitment was not good. Not worth the frustration. Feel terrible to throw this project in the trash.

We are deeply sorry to know that you had such struggles with your 3D print! We can confirm that our team has test printed both versions of the T-800 Endoskeleton model in filament and resin, and both versions assembled well with only some slight sanding needed. We have also double-checked the design of the model and can confirm that the clearances in it are optimal for the assembly to be sturdy, while looser clearances would result in wobbly joints and connectors.
It is possible that some printing defects, such as warping or insufficient curing, or material shrinkage got in the way of your project. And if you would need any pieces of advice or help with improving your 3D printing results, we welcome you to reach out to us at support@gambody.com for assistance!
Also, we would like to note that we are planning to release a more static version of the T-800 Endoskeleton 3D Printing Figurine for SLA printing that would comprise less assembly parts and require less printing time. If you would be interested in that, we will gladly notify you upon the new version’s release.
Please, let us know if there is anything we could help you out with!
