Mann,I really hope they get this in the UK.. need an upgrade on my mobility scooter.. been a fan since the pulse rda days Tony.. just about every Tony B product… and yes because of you… frosted Dot+mission xv and some sweet staxx panels 😎
You’ve got a good eye for what people want, at a price we all can pay.. hats off to you bro 👊

I'm definitely satisfied with this scooter as well
I’m a 50 year old woman with a larger property and this looks fun to me to have together get around my place!
Yup, it would be perfect for that! Thank you for watching!

Did he screw you on mother's day
YES THANKYOU SO MUCH
Awesome
Looks like it’d be fun 🎉 Great review ❤️

I already own a razor ecosmart scooter myself
I like it. I'll get two. Good video thanks 👍
Awesome! Thank you for watching.
Did you get them?

I got mine back on Monday.
Wow I hadn't gotten a video from you in ages and Im subbed! Im going to keep an eye on it this time. I like the scooter but Im not sure if I would like riding one. Good video! 👍
Thank you! Yea, UA-cam algorithms are whacked out lately. Appreciate your support!
I tried a similar design to this, was genuinely astonished at how bad it was at climbing hills with its 500w motor 10ah battery and my 85kg self, like struggling on 15% hills to the point I had to push.
This is why we have smaller wheels and dual motors on escooters! It was frustrating as it ticked every other box. Strictly for flat ground, not hills...
Yea, I feel ya there! Heck, my eskates have more power than these do. But it does a respectable job and is pretty well appointed with features. And…under $300. Thank you for watching!
I need one with all these accesories, but must be able to handle lots of hills! Suggestions?
Thanks
No problem, Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
It's a fun little scooter.. I'm liking mine more and more as I ride It.. I have the p1 in blue / silver.
Nice! Yea, it’s pretty versatile. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
Great informative vid here. I just got one for my wife. I just wondered why the default voltage grade selector is 36v when they say it has a 48v battery. Does it extend battery life setting it like that. I'm really impressed with it and might get one too.
I would think that’s why they did that. Battery / range is sorta key. Glad she’s enjoying it, and thank you for watching 💯
Definitely interesting and for what it is the price is fair imo.
Exactly! Thank you for watching!
This little Booter lol looks pretty nice and would be great around my little town, maybe one day if the docs can fix my eyes.
lol 😂 yup, it’s the Booter. Thank you for watching!
Avastin shots helped me try that

They have a 870 peak watt version with a 750 watt motor..
It's called the p5 I ordered mine it should be here this Wednesday from what I read it has regenerative braking
Oh! That’s nice man. Lemme know how it is
I will they apparently also just released the 1200 watt version
I'll let you know how mine turns out in the coming days...
Keep up the videos
@@VaporTrailChannel well I'm 156 lb it doesn't hesitate to get me up to speed at all every time I hit a hill it was great speed it does have regenerative braking and I think it might be slightly bigger than the one you showed it lacks any decent display simply a battery meter but there is no speed selector
The thing definitely Halls I like it it took me 8 me to Denny's full throttle the whole way up quite a few decent big hills and got me back safe and sound I wish I could do reviews like you do this is a very good peddless ebike and that regenerative braking comes in great handy
@@VaporTrailChannel it's a nice little scooter it really is it acceleration is great it does have regenerative braking it doesn't have a speedometer like yours is just a basic voltmeter but it also doesn't have the three speeds it's just twist and go
Hill Wise it's a Boss I weigh 158 I'm 6 ft 4 and it pushes me up hills like it's nothing I put about 40 miles on it so far honestly I'd say I get about 14 I full throttle it everywhere but if I use the regenerative braking often like I should I probably get about 17 it's definitely worth it they have a 1200 watt version I got the peak 870 I'd recommend doing a review of the 1200 watt version if It could push you around with decent acceleration it's sending people like me to the Moon
Just ordered this. I lost my license due to a DUI so this will be my new ride. So excited to get it! In 5’3 and 130lbs so I hope it fits me well! Also how did it do on hills for you? A no go?
So sorry to hear you lost your license! This should serve you pretty well. At 130lbs, hills will be decent for you. Super steep hills will slow it down quite a bit, but at 195lbs it still gets me up hills. Slows quite a bit at the top of them, but gets me where I’m going. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
@@VaporTrailChannelThank you! I appreciate that a lot. It just came in the mail and I got it together. My only issue is the handles. They are loose and I don’t feel good riding it if that’s how it’s made also has no insurrections on how to tighten them. The one on their UA-cam is very quick and not specific and I can’t figure it out. Do you know how?
Also to add on to this, my front tire had a little wobble too it. I wonder if I can fix this on my own at home without returning it. I’m pretty good at fixing things as a woman, just not sure how to.
So you can ride that drunk
@@Anangelfromabovedefinitely can I have the same scooter and I adjust the wheels and brakes pretty easily let me know if you need help 👍🏾

Good video, thanks.
Thank you! 🙏🏻
I can't figure out how to get mine started I don't see any start or power button anywhere on it
I show all of that in this video. Watch after the unboxing portion. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
Got everything but the handle bar thing to pull down still working on it
Glad you figured it out from our other comment convo!
I purchased this scooter from Temu I got the 750 watt version. I watched your video and had high hopes. Build quality is pretty good but when I tried to turn it on after charging the thing won’t power up!? Does anyone have any ideas or tips?
I suggest you reach out to them on social media. Instagram or facebook. They seem to answer pretty quickly. Caroma has a pretty good service dept. Temu isn’t the best place to buy these trips of things as it can be difficult to get help. Amazon is better since they’re super responsive and returns are easy if need be. Since you bought in Temu, your best bet is to contact Caroma directly. Sorry you had a less than great experience!
what is the lowest height of the seat to the ground please ?
The seat only has one height. I don’t have this one anymore as one of my good friends wanted it for his family. I can’t measure it for ya, but the website should have that listed in the specs. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
You pulled the handle bars down fast and easy to screw it in I can't figure it out on that
Glad you figured it out from our other comment convo!
I HAVE AN IMPORTANT QUESTION FOR YOU. IF I HAVE AN INTERVIEW 20 MILES AWAY AND I TAKE BATTERY WILL THIS CAROMA MAKE IT THERE ON SIDE OF ROAD OR WOULD YOU NOT DO THAT IF YOU WERE ME. 20 MILES THERE AND 20 BACK OR 23 THERE AND 23 BACK. IF YOU COULD LET ME KNOW
That’s hard to say. Range depends on many factors. Your weight, the terrain, wind, hills…all will affect it. But I would say probably wouldn’t try that as it would be pushing I under good conditions, and I wouldn’t want you to miss the interview or have to push it home.
Get a car
I agree I am working on it.
Thank you for a cool review: I’m nearly 6ft how tall are you do you think it will be fine for a taller person?
I’m 5’6”, so maybe that will give you some perspective. If you’re on the heavy side, that will factor in for the speed and hill climbing. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
Is it feasible to carry an extra battery with you to double range? Is the battery easy and quick to change in such a situation?
Nope, definitely not with this one. It’s built into the deck and would require partial disassembly to swap. That’s something I predict that makers of this type of PEV will end up doing if the genre catches on. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
@VaporTrailChannel it's unfortunate that simple charging stations aren't readily available. I was hoping that the shopping center would have had external outlets to plug the charger into but alas that isn't the case.
@@michaezell4607 I tend to find that coffee shops and the like are almost always willing to let you use theirs.
Looks like I need a speedometer. New ones don’t have one. Suggestions? Also any idea of swapping seats?
@@janspeirs2630 You can get an app like Relive and a handlebar mount and use your phone for that. As a bonus, it will allow you to export an animated map with a full showing of the route you did on that ride! Pretty cool. The seat isn't one that will be easily replaced, but I'm sure you could modify another on the market to work with it.
Question brother does it have regenerative braking Amazon I asked a little robot dudes and it said yeah
I'm waiting on mine to come it'll be here next Wednesday
I don’t think it does. I could be wrong, but mostly only the one electric skateboards do. The ENGWE Engine Pro bike I reviewed has some sort of regenerative braking system, but they’re the only one that claims it to my knowledge. Thank you for watching!
Shipping from Amazon $160.
The shipping fee is $160? If so, wow. But these aren’t lightweight, so that is about how much they cost to ship. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
So in the end you're paying five hundred dollars total for this product? That's so not worth it.
@@VaporTrailChannel
Ordered mine yesterday for a cost of three hundred 88 dollars plus shipping and the total cost came out to around four hundred 18 dollars which is not too bad.
My order should arrive within the next week or two according to my Amazon account.
@VaporTrailChannel
Mine was shipped via ups.
Perhaps that's why I'm suddenly broke again? My scooter came out to a total of four hundred and 18 bucks but I didn't use prime delivery on it.
@@michaezell4607 Walmart has cheaper shipping for scooters.
Im 5’6 bt idk if may seat to low fr me & battery
Time last? Thnx
We are about the same height and battery range will differ depending on terrain (hills, etc) and whether you have a lot of wind. Sort of a “your mileage may vary” type of thing, so it’s hard to predict your actual range. Similar to others in its class. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
⚡️🤟🏽🤟🏽⚡️
*Great price!*
Thank you for watching!
For $300 that’s pretty good
Right? Thank you for watching
It's not really $300, they are charging another $179 shipping on top, so $479. The GoTrax Flex is $399 with free shipping.
At the time of production for this video, that wasn’t the case. I appreciate you providing the information. I can only tell you what I think of this one as I haven’t tested the Gotrax. I looked it up and it looks quite similar, so if that’s a better fit, and you can get free shipping, go for it! There are a few differences, that might matter to some. This has dual disc brakes (flex is only back / electric brake), the Y handlebars…which may be more stable…I’m not sure as I haven’t ridden the Flex, the basket appears to be bigger, has fenders front and back, and it also has front AND back suspension. The shocks on this look better than the Flex as well, as they’re sealed shocks. It all comes down to what you, the consumer values. I tend to do a spec comparison before I make a buying choice. The extra $79 you pay in shipping, in the end over the Flex option, may make up for the things the Flex doesn’t have. Or not. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
Feels real fast like you on a bike pedal
Faster than most scooters, for sure. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
We’re you able to adjust your breaks? I have the same and it sounds like they are rubbing.
I didn’t have to, but it’s not difficult to do. Lots of videos on how to adjust disc brakes out there. You should look into “bedding your brakes” for new bikes and scooters. What you do is take it to top speed, then apply the brakes evenly and pretty hard, until you come almost to a complete stop. Repeat that several times, and that will get your brakes set up better. Most of the time it will fix any issues with “rubbing”. But sometimes disc brakes will just do that a bit. Thank you for watching!
I can't figure out for anything how you pinched that to pull down handle bars to screw that screw in there so it aligns with tires. I'm so frustrated trying to figure this out
Ok, when you look at the left side while sitting on the bike, you’ll see there’s a push in silver tab type thing in the middle. You’ll push that in and it’ll make it so you can pull them down. Think of it like a one of those pop up tents where you have to push those things in to move or lock the legs in. Hope that helps!
YES I FOUND IT BEFORE I SAW YOUR COMMENT AND MEANT TO TELL YOU I FOUND IT I DIDNT GIVE UP TIL I FOUND IT BUT THANKYOU FOR GETTING BACK TO ME AND IF IM TRYING TO GO BACK ROADS TO COMMUTE TO MY JOB IN MY SMALL TOWN DO YOU THINK ITS OK WITH POLICE IF IM GOING BACK ROADS BECAUSE I CAN GO BACK ROADS MAINLY OFF HIGHWAY TO GET TOMY JOB AND THIS BIKE GOES PRETTY FAST. I LIKE IT. IT GOES PLENTY FAST FOR ME. OK THANKYOU.
LOL, 19MPH down hill with a tail wind! I couldn't find this particular scooter on Amazon (I did find loads of Caroma scooters on Amazon, none for less than $430.00)
More like a head wind 😂 It’s not meant to be a speed demon. I think they had complaints that there wasn’t free shipping, so they raised the price to reflect shipping cost, then made it free shipping. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
@VaporTrailChannel free shipping is ONLY available to prime members.
I just looked today on Amazon and this scooter is selling for four hundred and 22 dollars plus shipping.
I added it to my shopping list on my account although even at 50 years of age a certain family member strongly objects to me purchasing so much as one more vehicle via Amazon since I already own a razor pocket mod, razor ecosmart metro, razor DXT drift trike ( non electric version) a drift cart and bicycle...I'm somewhat satisfied with the ecosmart metro scooter but it's limited range leaves a lot to be desired. ..probably due to it's use of sealed lead acid batteries as opposed to the more volatile lithium ion batteries.
I put it together but can't figure out how you got handlebars into tire and the split mine won't split where I can screw in the middle for tires to align with handle bars can't align it up
I think we got your squared away?
how heavy are you? im 130 lbs and wondering if i would go any faster
I weigh 195lbs, so if you're 130, you might actually get a speed boost. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
@@VaporTrailChannel thank you
so how can i grt one to buy?
Just follow the link in the description. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
I just got my bike and I'm trying to put it together and you go way to fast put the handle bars together and it'd not close up and I can't figure this out
I think we got your squared away?
Use some alcoho, and clean all oil and grease off the disc.
Thanks man!
i have heard great things about this brand but $170 for shipping? seems like thats why the price is cheaper than other electric scooters that ship for free
That makes sense really. The others are just including shipping into their price. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
Anyone know where to buy replacement tire mine just pop
2 options, contact Caroma and either purchase one from them or find out what you need and go buy one, or bring it in to a bike shop and have them fix it up. Good luck, and thank you for watching!
@@VaporTrailChannel thank you
How do you turn the lights on this ? I can’t figure it out
I can’t remember offhand, and a family member of mine now has this, so I don’t have it to look at right this second. I think I showed in the video how to turn them on, no?
Troubleshot and repaired. Happy Now
Oh, great! Glad to hear that.
I've seen you in someone else's comment section lol. Was this worth what you paid + the shipping???
@@lonelymamsie LOL...I'm pretty prolific on social media, so I'm not surprised. You know...worth is dependent on the person you're asking. Something that might be great for me, might not be for you. You know what I mean. That said, the scooter is listed for $219, and with shipping, it's about $380. Yea, I would definitely say it's worth it for that. If this is the form factor and type of ride you're looking for that is. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
Can you tell me what size replacement break pads to purchase for the P1? No phone # for customer service.
That's a good question! I imagine that they're a standard size. Your best bet is to take it to a bike shop and they can tell you and / or replace them for you. I did look at the Caroma site and it has an email you can send an inquiry to as well: ecaroma.service@gmail.com hopefully that helps! Thank you for watching.
@@VaporTrailChannel Thanks, we will contact a bike shop if we get no reply from the caroma people. Strange they have no customer service telephone number.

@@user-bi4em3bh3h Totally get it..but should and do are 2 different things. I work with a lot of China companies and this is pretty much the norm. Hope get what you need!
Inexpensive till you see the shipping costs. Then it becomes a expensive scooter. Can we all say Bait n Switch.
Yea, the shipping does make it a bit rough. When I did this review, it was set as free shipping. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
So I dont mind that your link is an affiliate link, you really should get paid for doing honest work. You said it wasnt an affiliate link though, and it very clearly is. Is that the only thing you lied about? How am I to trust your review now?
It’s definitely not an Amazon affiliate link. I actually joined their program about a year and a half ago, and blew it. I didn’t know that you couldn’t promote links on your Facebook, etc. So, they banned me. So, I am not an affiliate. I do shorten the links using bit.LY, because I like to track how many clicks the links get. That’s all part of the game, as you need to, have metrics to be able to show companies when they ask you for them in order to get product to do reviews. If a link is an affiliate link, I do say so. And that usually comes directly from the company that has sent the product. Take it as you will, but I don’t appreciate being called a liar when the accuser doesn’t have the facts. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
I actually had to go back and look at this one, because this company asked me to use the link that they sent. Apparently it’s their method of tracking it. But if you look at the rest of mine, it is using bit.ly I can see where you would’ve thought that though, in looking at the link. I’m sure there’s a way to find out if I am an Amazon affiliate, if you feel like looking that far into it, but I assure you, I am not an Amazon affiliate. Due to my own mistake with them.
@@VaporTrailChannel Its not tracking, and maybe its not your affiliate link, but I know Amazon affiliate links and it is 100% someones affiliate link! It has a tag, not just a tracker.
@@jon9947 I see. Well, that might be true then. When one of these companies asks me to use their link, I'm fine with that. So I just didn't care either way. So yea, when I say I'm not an affiliate, I mean it. Heck, I wish I was, because I could at least make some beer money 😛 But as it is, I can't. I often do when it's something direct through a manufacturer website, and I will say something like "if you use this link, it doesn't cost you any extra, but I make a few dollars to help support the channel". Yea, sorry if I came at ya a little hard initially. I do my best to operate with integrity. If it is an Amazon affiliate link, it may be the rep who I emailed with who is the affiliate. She told me that she wanted to use it to track the activity. I don't question a whole lot, because I expect the same integrity from manufacturers. This link didn't look like the typical Amazon affiliate link, because it has that linkgeni thing, so I had no idea. I'm going to look into that, and if it is, I'll change the link. Thank you for informing me.
@@VaporTrailChannelwhen I looked it up on Amazon your video was on there.
Amazon pays product reviewers in exchange for giving the product ( regardless of whatever product it is) a good rating in order to trick gullible consumers into purchasing said product.
Also sites such as Amazon frequently have their own employees write product reviews for the site to help drive up product sales.
