    Attention! This video contains mistakes:
    5:42 - the tightening torque is 50 Nm, not 55 Nm.
    6:49 - the tightening torque is 90 Nm, not 110 Nm.
    7:21 - the tightening torque is 48 Nm, not 65 Nm.
    8:09 - the tightening torque is 32 Nm, not 30 Nm.
    We're sorry for the inconvenience 🙇‍♂

    @5:34 where exactly did you position the top of the spring end in relation to that lob on the plastic bearing carrier ? This needs to be in a certain position I believe, no ?

    • @autodocuk
      @autodocuk  Рік тому +1

      Yes it must be in a certain position of the lug on the plastic bearing holder. more specific information can be found in the vehicle maintenance log book

    Is it necessary to replace the two shock absorbers together, even if the other is in good condition? Knowing that the car has traveled 100,000 miles

    • @autodocuk
      @autodocuk  2 роки тому +3

      It is recommended to change shock absorbers in pairs and not individually.

    The original suspension is harsh on bumpy roads. Can you please suggest a softer suspension than motorcraft ??

      We do not have such information, we recommend that you consult your mechanic.

    6:46 in different videos the value is in the range 80 - 150 Nm

    • @autodocuk
      @autodocuk  8 місяців тому

      Yes, you are right, in this case the correct torque is 90 Nm, this will be useful for us. Thank you for your attentiveness.

    What does the copper grease do?

    • @autodocuk
      @autodocuk  3 роки тому

      Thank you for your comment.
      Copper grease perfectly protects against corrosion and sticking of parts, thereby preventing the thread from souring and facilitating dismantling during further replacement.

    The clips are way too short. Remember we're many amateurs watching. We need to REALLY see what is going on. Slow down.
    Also I would like to see how itis done if you don't have professional equipment. I need to do it in the driveway with a simple garage jack and no professional equipment at all.

      Our videos are for guidance only. Unfortunately, we cannot show all the nuances and problems when replacing, this is all individually and it is not always possible to solve them within the framework of safety precautions at home.
      To avoid this, we always recommend that replacements be made at specialized services.
