One of my favorite songs of all time,not just punk,not just rock-and this song rocks as good as anything. I hear Chuck Berry and even some Blues in Steve's amazing rockabilly on speed,blitzkrieging buzzsaw guitar solo.The band on the album and in concert are amazing and so tight.And Lydon's confrontational lyrics are directed straight at the listeners. Fucking amazing. I grew up on this band and Hendrix before I added Motorhead,Joy Division,Ministry and rap to my rotation. I overlooked Problems because I loved Anarchy and GSTQ so much. And the odly mellow Submission. But Problems is something I have to blast in my car stereo at least once a week!
When your awesome it takes one song... Hence the one hit wonders... Now they did one album multiple songs.. All of it one hit wonders.... They are Gods!!!! Not many artists out there can do that with two songs....
Thank God these concerts were video recorded and then someone was nice to share this performance with us for free on on a video platform called You Tube. Sex Pistols never get old.
I have adored this band since I was 12 years old in 1977! I was too young to see them back then, and didn't catch them on the 'Filthy Lucre ' tour either for multiple reasons, but I FINALLY got to see them on this tour in my home CITY, Manchester, where they had played two 'historic ' gigs in1976 at 'The Lesser Free Trade Hall'! I saw them at the MEN Arena in 2006 (as it was called then) and the original line up played and they were amazing ! And John (in his own sarcastic way) acknowledged the 30 years since the band had played live in our gorgeous CITY! God Bless The Sex Pistols! dx
Well - yesterday i saw the SEX PISTOLS Experience Cover Band here in a small town (called Pollhöfen) in northern Germany. It was f****n awesome! They played "Problems" for sure: i went crazy in front of the stage. My favorite one together with "Holidays in the Sun"!
