The crowd is filled w all ages, the sign of a truly great band
Definitely
And RACES!!!
Yess
Absolutely the best complete legends 🤘
@@fredgomez9234 Yes, great comment ... sticks it up all the present day hypocrites!!
To the younger generations...growing older is inevitable, growing old is optional...if this still resonates the same to you in your 40's, as it did when you were a teen, then you've won
So it is bro
I discovered them when I was about 16 (1991) and I still get riled up every time I hear it
Goin into my 50. Still love this.
Very good statement.
This is my favourite comment on UA-cam I think I've ever read.
40 years later and still has that f**cking look!! Long live PUNK!!!!!!
The Pistols blew the doors off the establishment!! Make no mistake. One of the most influential bands ever!!!
And I bet John Lydon was stone cold sober when he did this, too. Seriously... Not drugs or booze. Just a heart filled with Righteous Rage.
Wouldn't bet on it bud haha
Watch the whole gig when he has a brandy break
These guys were probably nearing their mid to late 50s and they still are more punk than any other punk band in history
70's
@@user-tt1qf5fg8b not in 2007
Holy shit this is one of the best live-video I've ever seen
i know
+Mika Arguello the bass is rocking
it sounds crazy loud, i doubt that audience can hear anymore. this is louder than motorhead lol
The best band in world
Do you see those 30yo+ fans' faces returning to the ages of 'teens? Amazing!
considering this song is 40yo i bet these old fans are older than 30 :P
the truth ... we 're 50+ :-)
Redguy Sk these guys were around in the70s man. Try 50 plus.
56 here haha yeah
kevin adams 41 here. Loved these guys since I was thirteen. Johnny Rotten is one of the coolest guys ever. If you haven't seen his interview with Pierce Morgan go check it out. It's really great.
Went to this gig. Still gives me goosebumps.
me too best live concert footage ever. the edit is amazballs
Fucking licky
God damn you brits. Im loving it Much love from Poland to all of you
I'll be 60 next month this still brings me to tears of joy
I’m 20 years old and I don’t believe what I’m seeing, please more of this
Was watchin the 77' version then saw this 07' live version and it literally brought tears to my eyes... Hail Britain and it's landmark music!
this is punk. THE PUNK, THE REAL PUNK!!!
I agree with you Hermes. The real punk, OR post punk as it was called was . . . The Birthday Party ! ! !
Punk sucks now its all poppie
Isn't punk supposed to be the most anti elitist genre there is
The band Yes.
But "real" Punk was 30 years before this.
When half these punters were not even born
J'avoue que je pense la même ! Excellent ! 😅
Why haven't more people watched this? For me this is what live music is about. Not sitting on your seat humming along or tapping your feet.
Patrick Lenihan to be fair camera phones weren't really a thing in 2007. The razor was pretty much the best thing we had at that time lol
Can you imagine a pink Floyd concert ever being so full of life?
The crowd are ripping it up 💀💀
This song is the perfect introduction to Punk Rock.
It definitly was for me!!!👍
Nah
“The Sex Pistols are not punk. If they are it's a pathetic and impotent breed that disgraces the name of the genre. The Sex Pistols are infamous for their violent and debauched (understatement right there) antics. They seemed like rebels, railing against the monarchy and yelling things like "I am an anti-Christ/I am an anarachist!" But they weren't rebels. Did The Sex Pistols ever try and make any kind of real protest against the government? Did they ever really have it in their interests to challenge a corrupt system and bring about some Che Guevara revolution? No. They didn't. Their "rebellion" was nothing more than getting obliterated on drugs and drink, smashing things up and being, without a shadow of a doubt, IDIOTS. They weren't rebels. They didn't try to change things. They didn't try to grow up. They didn't try to use their sudden fame and their brief career to make any kind of real lasting difference. They just did things in the name of "anarchy". You've got to be kidding yourself if you think anarchy (even if it's brought about by calculating, intelligent terrorists rather than promoted by malicious, spiteful thugs) is either practical or morally good. If that is what "punk" is, I want no part of it, and neither should you. They used punk as a licence to be morons.”
@@inkblack6256 fuck u communist
@@inkblack6256 everything you just said is .B O L L O C K S........the punk movement came about as an antidote to the terrible glam rock , pop and general dire state of music in the mid 1970s and as an antidote to the tyrannical vice like grip of the record companies......suddenly anyone could be in a band and make thier own records , make thier own clothes , hundreds of small record labels popped up.....thats why at all of the punk concerts i went to the audience used to spit at the bands as a sign against the hero worship of other boring non punk bands ....
You absolutely do not know what you are talking about .
Rod from Australia just fucking love it still rocking at 60
Still one of the best rock and roll bands ever. Steve brilliant as none before.
3:16 Sid Vicious is not dead
lmfao...
+Hamster Bowie jajaja es igual!
Elvis isn't either
sid esta mas enterrado que nunca, viva johnny rotten el verdadero punk de los sex pistols
Sid Vicious' Legacy Lives On!!!
Go to your local dilapidated buildings, abandoned apartments and rehabs you will find plenty of Sid Viciouses in there.
John, Steve and Paul, even Sid...Made my childhood, thanks for that.
I loved the Pistols and played them non stop much to the disappointment of my parents. My dad has now passed away but my mum always says "you loved the Pistols didn't you"
One of the most iconic bands ever
Simply contagious!

Still remember this night like it was yesterday. Travel from Romania to see this gig, fan since i was 12 in 1995
Fair play man
U.K music at its best. I feel sad for the youth of today, what’s gone so wrong?
Good point. Do they write protest songs??
What a wall of sound. Hats off to the sound guy on this.
This is Rotten at his best.
Totally! Can you imagine being there?
This song like most Pistols songs are ABSOLUTELY the best to play. This is freakin AWESOME!
After 30 years they playing very well
+ Colo. Shut up, this is a sex pistols FOTOCOPY
True Wild!
WOW! What a great band. They're truly deserving of all the adulation. 40 some years after their music was created, it still gets the blood flowing.

high expectation asian dad: 'Son, go study statics & mechanics of materials analyses in your room now.'
son: 'No, I'm going to sex pistols concert."
Anarchy in the UK.
@@johnreeves6286 He was Asian, and at the front lines too haha No shame though, I'm Asian too, and have always enjoyed punk rock.
He was a first class front man. I remember seeing him in the 80's. A strong force.
All these Pistols performances are so good they bring tears to my eyes!
I only recently got into this band. I was born in the 90s. My heart literally breaks that i'll never get to experience anything like this. ever.
when ever I feel like listening to the Sex Pistols it`s always this gig that I listen to . They sounded their best ever on this
Absolutely fucking wonderful.
fucking great crowd.
authentic, not many teeth though
damn, I just found this video and had to watch it 5 times in a row!
just can't get enough of it...
Pistols more relevant than ever! Lydon is fucking awesome, band ripping ... time to reunite again
Only band EVER!!! with TRUE PROVEN SHOCK factor who rattled the ESTABLISHMENT!!!

Punk will never die
WTF. The power of a thirty year old song. I´m thrilled here.
Without this there was no Nirvana. “WeLove our Queen, great lyrics.
No gimmicks and so much energy............exhausting just to watch this.
Not a fucking phone. How a concert should be.
Well it was 2007 and this was before smartphones really took off and raising those fliip phones didn't look as good
I know it is kind of randomly asking but do anyone know of a good website to stream new series online?
@Briggs Nixon flixportal =)
@Jacoby Sean thank you, signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there =) Appreciate it!!
@Briggs Nixon You are welcome xD
On the inside these guys are still those crazy rebellious kids. Just look at Johnny. It is as if he is that angry young man all over again and he is loving every moment of it.
Yes the devils shining stars.
My neighbours loved this song so much they threw a brick through the window to hear it better
What an opening! Guitar, Bass and Drums like a battering ram a sound you feel in your chest!
So happy to see this 40 odd years after the album’s release In 1977
The anthem and the root of punkrock. Holy shit this gig was awesome.
This is best punk song ever.
F*ck yeah it is! THIS is the base!
Listening In May 2022,I'll be 59 in a few days time, brings me to tears of joy listening and watching
Pas connue. Jamais.eu vu.... Merci pour votre retour 👏💓
0:38 Thinking about the time he was growing up a bad ass
lol yeah
Everytime I see that guy singing alone I get chills...that was the time of his life
kutak bar yeah?
@Bobby Jensen: A profoundly underappreciated quality of the Sex Pistols is that they appeal equally well to physical, emotional, and intellectual types . . . that would not normally have anything to do with one another whatsoever.
I love the attitude of this crowd. " We're still here mother fuckers" !!!
I've watched this one hundred times. And I'll watch it one hundred more.
John rotten has never said he could sing his band was about just not giving a shit amd they had fun doing it and made money they never gave a shit about politics!
One thing missing...Rest in peace Sid. I hope you found what you was looking for.
This song gets better with age
Love Sex Pistol so much.R.I.P Sid
hhmmm its a great. Warm regards from Indonesia
I'm not a huge fan of punk music but they're just AWESOME !
He asks, "Ya know what I mean?" at 2:10, and with headphones on at 2:13, I swear I can hear someone yell, "No!" followed by "I don't!" At 2:14.
+The Lone Joker6254075 me too
I tought i was the only one noticed that hahaha
Hahahaha yes its true, No, I dont !!
I’m not the only one who heard it haha

The most powerful song many years ago and Punk is not dead changed my life 💪♥️💪the best 💪💪💪
...SONG OF THE DAY!!!
THE SEX PISTOLS - ANARCHY IN THE UK (1977)
Ageless song.
I rewatched the video for the millionth time, and all those boys and girls in their 20s/30s who are shouting along with Johnny and the old Pistols fans... it gets me every time.
January 2024 and there still people trying to come down after this concert.
This is the best song ever :D
Pasan los años y sex pistol siguen siendo los reyes del punk Marcelo blum desde Concepción chile
MPLA UDA IRA I thought it was the UK or just another country. Brilliant. Thank you John. What a poet.
UK Punk, the only one!!!!!! for ever!!!!!
40 yearsand still sounds fresh
I’m a Yank but this band is the best.
Fooking hell you could power the UKs domestic electricity for a month with the raw anarchic energy in that hall...
Wow, finally Johny singing in the spirit of the 70's Pistols backed by the original band w a bass player that can play!!!!!
What a environment... Fantastic.
I bloody love England!!!!
Anger is an energy.
RESPECT MAN.These guys made everything....
more energy than many youngers currently
I usually read the bible, and hear Mozart, but this music makes me loose my mind! AWESOME!!!!!!
Right on point Sigi and all great!
As a secondary teacher, kids have really changed these last 3 decades. Twenty years ago, I was told to f*** off every week. These days, kids sit in front of me like blobs, heads down, no personality, certainly no opinions, no teenage rebellion... That's all gone.. obviously my job is easier. But it's not healthy. I miss teenage rebellion.
No rebels anymore. Sad.
40 years later and still has that f**cking look!! Long live PUNK!!!!!!
would you buy butter from this man?
Holy shit this is one of the best live-video I've ever seen
