Yes, I absolutely adore Lady Mary Beth and her videos. My parent's opened an antique shop at my paternal grandparents small motel in the late 1970's. Was like Christmas opening purchases from auctions. Learned so much, and still do now at 63 yrs old. I so look forward for each new release.

Mildred was my grandmother's pattern of which I have several pieces. We have an extensive collection of Blue Danube.
Don’t forget up North we have basements where many seasonal items are stored!
Lucky you! We are near sea level and cannot have basements. How I wish we had the extra storage. Good point with seasonal items at estate sales. This is true for Tennessee estate sales.

I was off last week and the plan was to shop Goodwill Franklin but we made it as far as Crossville did about nine shops there and then headed back home, we will be in Nashville for a few upcoming events and we are definitely going to make it through Franklin. It has changed a lot since I spent time there in the 80s and 90s.⌛️❤️❤️

Those side plates in the Desert Rose pattern are bone dishes, used for holding bones or scraps off of your plate. As you can see there already was a round salad plate.
Thanks for the clarification. Have heard this referred to as a bone dish. In German tablesettings, would be a side salad.
True. My grandmother had those for fish bones. She even had a plastic version with flips that you could atach it to your plate with, so that it was actually hanging on the plate.
I find myself looking now and again while watching to see how much time is left, saddend if I'm already 3/4th of the way through the episode! Thank you for the education, and for highlighting such special finds. I'm always happy to see you've posted something new.

I thrifted a similar porcelain figurine($4.99!) not too long ago & she's just beautiful. She has Lotus flowers. I also found a beautiful crystal rose bowl($4.99 too) & when it's not being used for roses, I use it as a tissue holder! I love finding unique ways to use my pieces unexpectedly. Thxs for sharing!
I love going to estate sales. It is a great way to acquire unique and lovely items for a fraction of retail price. The white on white dish set was simplisticity and beauty at its best. This set gets my vote. I'm looking forward to seeing what you bought. I saw so many things I would love to have in my home.

Neat! These were both "new to me" patterns.
Loved the estate sale tour, my favourite china pieces were the Royal Dalton and the blue Danube. Some nice glass pieces also. Do you ever get the chance to buy pieces on your preview of the sale or do you have to wait for the sale to the general public? I'm glad brass has made a somewhat small reappearance ot has a bit of warmth and nostalgia in my personal opinion. Enjoyed this so much, until next week take care.
I am unable to purchase in advance of the sale. Once the estate sale company shares preview photos, they must have the stock when doors open. I am often first in line for the sale.
My favorite china pattern was definitely Mildred. Perhaps because of the Michigan connection.

Another wonderful sale and what a beautiful home. But you glossed over those ukuleles! What were you thinking😂😂. Those clip-on ash trays would have been loved by my parents and sister who were all heavy smokers. I got my smoking for free every time I visited. Just inhale! X
Must admit that I was extremely distracted when filming the ukuleles and hair receivers. The estate sale company owner was talking to me about an unbelievable story related to an upcoming sale. The homeowner was found six months after she expired. Lots more to the story.
