- Part 2 of a 1960's Cabana Renovation while some dork is currently on House Arrest. Installing a Marble wall tile and television because when is the last time you sat at a bar without a television?

Oh very intentional haha! To be fair -the sound system was the first thing piped in for rocking out, and then the TV to rock out further with the occasional radical music video.

For those of us who can't afford OLED, and who may have a TV close to a corner, because that's just how life goes sometimes (come see my living room if you want) being able to swivel the TV is nice. I do love your floating shelves and 2 finger gap in front of the marble though! That in-ground pool might be common in old-money New England, but one that nice is only seen in top neighborhoods in Michigan. Enjoy the view, it beats a prison yard!
Zing. I knew I should have specified, even a standard LED has significant improvements to viewing angle. To clarify, even a swivel mount being recessed with mounts direct to stud can improve the visual impact around the TV being For design aesthetics, usually there is a better layout than a corner mount. ( It certainly creates a more intentional viewing environment ) Email a picture and I'll throw in my 2 cents if desired. Oh, and Thank you for grounding my fortunate ass, I'll shut up now.

I've always aspired to be as handy as you've shown yourself to be in these videos. Doing large carpentry projects have been the dream, so for now I'll live them vicariously through you haha. One day I'll have an excuse to completely DIY a shed and build a man cave in the process. Keep it up!

Great to see you back! Hope the house arrest will end quicker than you would manage to fully rebuild everything in 200 ft radius. I started to build my house and sometimes I thought how easily you would build that and also same time manage to have a time of your life during the process. That motivates me as not all days are sunshine.

Awesome work. Only suggestion is to lightly sand the shelves and spray them with Rustoleum 2X Satin Clear.(white can, $6 at Home Depot) I refurbished a rocking chair in a similar color and the satin clear coat looks so good I still stare at it and wonder why people bother with polyurethane. It hides imperfections while really making the texture of the wood pop….and no reflective glare from the ceiling lights. One coat is all you need and it off-gasses overnight.

hah. I just enjoy making anything. And yes, I am trying to actively improve audio, hope my music levels aren't too intrusive, I try to sound check on 4 different audio outputs but, well, you know..
