Nick. I'm a combat disabled vet. So my wallet dictates that I smoke inexpensive cigars. After watching your videos, I get so much more pleasure out of what I smoke than I could have ever imagined. Thank you and keep them coming.
Thank you for your service William Vosseler
Thanks for your service! What cigars you been enjoying? I love finding affordable tasty stogies
chuck You are asking me what cigars I buy on Perdomo's page. Well, since you asked. I purchase bulk dried tobacco from the Amish in Lancaster and a Cuban lady down the street rolls them on her thighs on hot summer nights.
@@williamvosseler1638 Holy shit that sounds delicious!!
What I have learned the hard way is to spent money on quality and not quantity. Being half Cuban and having a Cuban Girlfriend I can attest that most Cubans don’t smoke every day. But, when they do, they smoke quality. Spent 120€ on 10 quality cigars and you are set.

Oh my goodness thank you so much for mentioning me! Sometimes I wonder if I anyone reads my nonsensical ramblings on Reddit.
I'm honored! I'll have to pick up a Perdomo next time I'm at the store to say "thanks".
Keep up the excellent content here. It's well done and a fantastic resource for enthusiasts and newcomers alike.
I take it that you're PreppyFinanceNerd?
Great advice man. Thanks for watching the videos and for the great tips. Enjoy your Perdomo cigar my friend.

I love Nick’s videos. He has a smooth, clear & concise way of speaking. His voice is perfect for the cigar industry. Nick the Cigar Godfather!
Another great video from Professor of the Leaf. Always presented in a clear and concise manner that even a newbie like me can learn and benefit from.
Perdomo channel is required watching and I'm absolutely flattered for the shout out Nick. An added bonus for me is this video's release on one of my cigar smoking brothers 55th Birthday. I'll definitely be toasting one up in his honor this evening after work.
Keep it smokey Sir...! 😤
Hey man! Happy birthday to your brother. Sounds like you'll be smoking in good company today.
I just want to say, I really appreciate you taking the time to suggest these tips that we used. Keep it coming, we are always happy to share good advice.
@@PerdomoCigars Nick, truly my pleasure...! 😤
While most people who watch this videos know this stuff, your presentation is money. This allows me to share the info with other people to help them understand and enhance their cigar smoking experience. Love your videos and can’t wait to watch more. You present the info in an awesome way that is none judgmental and easy for anyone to listen to. You have a great skill at doing presentations.
Thanks man. I really appreciate that and all your kind words. That has been my goal with this project. I want to get more people into the great experience that is cigar smoking so we can all enjoy it with more great people.
İ have only smoked öne cigar, İ didnt like It that much but İ want to give it more chances. I'm seaching for more INFO and this vídeo was great for that 😊
This man knows his stuff and always dressed like a classic man and let alone great cigars and tips and info, tip my hat off to you and your company sir god bless you and your family!!!!

@@thomasvaldivia1270 That is amazing, I can't tell you how honored I am.
As for events, keep your ear to the ground. Once this thing is over, I'm going to be all over the place.
@@PerdomoCigars will do brother looking forward to it but for now cheers and smoke on!!!
Smoking one now and listening to the locusts in the yard. Total chill. Never smoked a bad Perdoma.
I'm new to cigars. Only started in 1979. I always learn from Nick. Thks 🇬🇧
Couldnt agree more with smoking with friends. I travel nurse and i try different cigar lounges wherever i go, and i have always been accepted and brought into conversations like i was an old friend. There is just something special about cigars. Love this channel and hear your knowledge thank you. Also your love your Habano sungrown.
Hey Jeremy, that's a tough gig you got there. But sounds like you've made it your own. You should do a blog or channel on rating cigar lounges and your experiences.
@@PerdomoCigars thats a really good idea thank you.
I love when family gets together and enjoy drinks & cigars that's where memories are made .
These videos, tips are truly essential to get the most of cigar smoking I feel. Perdomo Cigars are now the only cigars to accompany my unit on military TDYs/deployments as well in my home humidor. A Perdomo makes a good day into a great day any day....thank you sir.
Thank you! It is such an honor to be a part our your lives. Thank you for your service.
I appreciate your humility in the beginning. Great video packed with excellent beginner information and for those that want to level up their smoking! 🍂🍂
I always love sitting and listening to the cigar masters. Always something to learn. Thanks Nick
Hey LeeMack, it's my pleasure man. Keep up the good work over there at your channel.
Subscribed after two videos- and I'm a tough get one to snag on the 'tube. These videos are impressive, though. Richly informative, concise and presented by a real deal tobacco man. Hats off to you, Nick. I'm looking forward to watching all the videos and further expanding my knowledge of the greatest simple pleasure in the world. We'll, maybe the second..
A long lingering finish is desirable in a well crafted cigar as well as a great whiskey. In a perfect world, you will enjoy them both together...with the wittiest of company.
Sounds heavenly to me.
I love the intro. Lighthearted and raw. Thanks for the info
I'm glad Nick highlighted great company as an essential element to the most pleasurable smokes...certainly true in my limited experience.
Thanks Nick Colin yes who you smoke with is large. I smoked countless cigars With my father Who passed away a few years ago at 97 years old. We never had a bad cigar together, we never had a crossword during those times together and now many times when I’m smoking alone I am holding the memory of the stories dad told me while we were smoking. To me that’s high-value stuff
Thank you for this. I tend to enjoy cigars more when I can puff it often, makes sense now why a bigger ring gauge suits me. Had my first Perdomo today. A 10th Sun Dried. I’ve been smoking for about 2 months, I’ve had probably 30 different cigars. You are my new favorite (previously was the Oliva V or V Melanio Maduro). I went back to my cigar shop and bought another along with the 10th Champ and 10th Maduro (which I’m currently enjoying). I have to say both of these cigars have blown me away. The construction, the draw, the aroma, the flavor are all superb especially given the price. Will definitely be purchasing a lot more of these in the future!
I've been smoking Perdomo cigars for several years now and have never been disappointed. Still the best cigars for the money, in my opinion. Thank you, Nick!
Awesome Nick, I really like the ash part, wondering myself. Your "how to cut & light a cigar" vids rather here or on Famous should be almost viral and a mandatory watch for anyone new to this, it truly is the best, and I think about absolutely every single day. Please be safe Nick, and keep your beautiful wifey safe too.
Ha ha! The one on famous has over 1 million views. If that ain't viral, I don't know what is. But thank you my friend and rest assure, Janine is well taken care of. Thank you for the concern.
I'm not into cigars, but its very interesting listening to you talk and your passion for cigars
Enjoying one with you in Managua and then Esteli was definitely 2 bucket list moments that a few years ago I didn't even consider adding TO my list because that's how far out of the realm of possibilities they were to me. Thanks for all you've done for me.
Thanks Cowboy, it was great having you out on the tour.
Couldn't agree more about smoking with new or old friends. Sometime, sitting down by myself and really trying to think about and pick apart every puff, becomes tedious. Smoking with good company allows me to relax and enjoy the cigar without making it complicated. Great advice!
I hope you keep posting more videos like this!! They are great!. Ive been smoking cigars for about 4 years, and always learn something new!
Hey Erik, I have been making cigars for 30 years now and learn something new every day. It's part of the fun.
Nick is my new favorite person. I was an occasional cigar smoker for years and stopped. Recently had one and reignited my passion for them. Came across these videos. So glad I found Perdomo Cigars. Thank you Nick for these educational videos.
Great video, Nick. I remember you giving us (myself, Joe and Tim) this same advise 10 years ago, poolside at your place in Estelli. Enjoying one of the new Lot 23s right now.
Great hearing from you Chris. All the best to you and the boys.
Nick - you're videos kick some serious ash!!! Love them - as much as I enjoy your cigars. I share them to various cigar groups...Gracias!!
Thanks man, that's a big help to us and I really appreciate your support and enthusiasm and creative use of words.
Love this man. He is a master in the tobacco world.
I go between B-C and when i feel adventurous i do E, if the cigar start unravelling i stick it in one of my briar pipes and enjoy the rest. Like you i always prefer the double blade cutter (open draw and fits all shapes).
Again, many thanks for these great informative videos they are highly appreciated.
Kindest regards
Al janabi
Hey man, thanks for the support. Double blade or bust is my motto. ..... one of them. But sometimes, the best cutter is the one you got on you.
Check out our most recent video, it's all about different cutters, I think you'll like it.
@@PerdomoCigars well the comment was meant to be for that video but i must lost track watching your great work.
Man this channel has the best tips. It’s one of the few I could find that has actual good tips from a very experienced cigar smoker. Keep up the good job!
Glad these video are helping you Matei. It seems most channels are doing reviews so we thought we would get out there and test the waters. Seems like there are a lot of people like you eager for more.
I support the hell out of Perdomo Cigars. Bout to make another purchase here soon. The dedication to the craft is appreciated.
Thanks for this video!
Well done...all good tips! I most enjoy a cigar with my good friends. I’ve had the best most authentic conversations over a cigar and bourbon/scotch/wine, etc. Keep ‘em coming.
I meet up with all of my friends at least once a month for dinner and cigars. It's a day I look forward to every month.
Thanks for ur educational video, after watching this I think I'm now enjoying cigars more than before.
Some great suggestions Mr. Perdomo. Thank you for taking the time to do the videos.
Thank you Miguel for taking the time to watch.
Thank you. Appreciate you and your entourage hosting the event at Smokerings in Merritt Island, Florida on 9/30/2021. This text was written while enjoying a Perdomo Habano.
The bloopers are awesome.
We all have to take a step back and laugh at ourselves sometimes.
Great information, great video, we need more videos like this MR. Perdomo
Coming your way Daniel! We've got you covered.
Nick - Thanks for the great videos. Because of you I had to try Cigars and now I’m hooked. Perdomo Cigars are some of my favorites! You guys make Great Cigars! Keep the videos coming especially the ones about your cigars it makes you want to try them all. Thanks again!
Smoking my very first Perdomo cigar tonight. A Habano Connecticut. I’m a Fuente smoker, but I’ve really enjoyed Mr. Perdomo’s videos and felt I should try the brand. Thanks for all the videos!
Hey Mr. Flair, big fan here. Thank you for smoking Perdomo, did you enjoy it?
Perdomo Cigars Very much so. It was certainly different from my normal Fuente Opus X sticks. I’m going to need to add a few more Perdomo’s to my humidor to understand the broad flavor palette. Thanks again. Love the videos!
Hey man, I'm really glad you enjoyed your cigar. I appreciate you giving us a chance and smoking Perdomo.
Nick Perdomo University. Awesome!
Ha ha, thanks Win, that means a lot to me man.
I enjoyed what you had to say as well as the detail of the explaination.
Thanks man, I'm glad this video could help and thanks for watching :)
Great video. I've never been to a cigar lounge, I wish there was one in my city. I'd go there. Maybe I gotta start my own cigar lounge+tobacco shop lol.
I just want to sit and have a smoke with Nick. What a cool, informative guy.
Great tips!!
I just started smoking long filler cigars last week, and I've been doing nothing but cramming information about etiquette, how to lights cut and smoke, the types of tobacco strains, country of origin and how it impacts flavor, parts of the plant and which are used for which part of the cigar.
I am absolutely fascinated with the long filler cigar universe, and all the flavors you can get from a simple plant, and the right growing and aging techniques.
My lounge has Perdomo 20th anniversary barrel aged sticks, the whole series.
I think I'll start my next session with one of the maduros from the line.
I live in Kentucky, and I'm debating growing a little Corojo for myself.
I know our climate is appropriate for it, many farmers grow tobacco here, but primarily stick to burley (for cigarettes and short filler pipe tobacco.
I'd love to prime, ferment and roll my own Kentucky Puro!!
Nick, you're a good man, and a great teacher.
Fantastic production value! Hats off to your producer / DP!
Great Video from a class man, thanks Nick! 🇺🇸
Nick, your knowledge and presentation really got me going.
I really like the 10th Anniversary champagne.
Amazing stuff!
thank you so much Nick! these videos are great.
Thanks Jeff, we will continue to bring you more. What burning cigar questions do you have?
@@PerdomoCigars i love to learn how cigars are made and what makes the different flavors that you taste throughout the cigar.
@@jeffdodson5217 Great question on the flavors, that is something I would like to answer soon. Thanks for asking man.
As for how cigars are made, we have everything on our channel from seed to Tobacco. We will be redoing these in the future, but the knowledge will never change.
After watching your videos, picked up a Perdomo Maduro recently and really enjoyed it! Definitely going to keep some on hand and will try your others.
Just found you Nick, catching up on all the shows. Great presentation, content, and instruction. I’ll be purchasing Perdomo’s for the weekend. Keep them coming. Thank you.
We love getting the opportunity to talk to you at Cigarfest. Hope you are well. Blessings from Gettysburg to you and your family.
I love nothing more than getting to meet you all at Cigarfest. I look forward to it every year. Blessing back at you, stay healthy my friend, your family as well.
All great advice! Thanks, Nick.
I never thought about the ring gauge and puffing time. Man I love these videos!
Happy to help Law
I work nights so when I get home in the morning I take a shower and make a big cup of coffee, go out on the porch and smoke a cigar. It’s my absolute favorite part of my day, some mornings I don’t want it to end. I live on the river so I sit and watch the morning fog rise up off the water puff on my cigar and I’m in heaven. Just recently got put onto the Perdomo 10th anniversary Champagne and it’s become one of my absolute favorites, such a great cigar
I just went and bought a cigar I’ve never bought. I came to YT to find how to cut it. He introduced himself on here and it’s one of his 10 year anniversary champagne cigars. Helluvah coincidence💪🏾
Enjoy all your videos & looking forward to meeting you next Tuesday *
Another perfect video! Thanks again 👌👍
Very informative channel. Thank you Mr. Perdomo !
Thank you for a great video. I am a new cigar smoker and enjoy the education. I haven’t tried allot of different cigars but will add you to my wish list
I'm all about those Perdomo Double Aged Vintage Connecticuts. I don't have many friends around, but that cigar is certainly a friend of mine.
Thanks for these videos, Nick.
Thanks for the tips Nick really enjoy your cigars
Thanks for the support Michael, and thank you for smoking Perdomo.
Digging that intro, Nick.
Great video, brother. I've learned a lot from you.
I hate saying this, but I haven't yet smoked a Perdomo. I have a Perdomo Reserva 10th Anniversary Champagne cigar in my humidor - it has been resting for 5 years now. It was the first cigar I bought and I've taken care of it. I will smoke this as a special occasion in 5 more years. Sentimental to me...
I just checked out your Merch Store and have to say WOW! You and your team has really surpassed others. Outstanding to your team!
Just found this channel and I’m really impressed and looking to try your cigars. I’m in Seattle and like everyone still locked down. Hopefully soon I can find one.
Very good video! 👍🏻 thanks Nick
Thanks man, we try hard to get the good info out there.
The best cigars on the market in my opinion 👌
"What you wanna make sure is that ash is nice and solid" 👌 yup! 🤣
Brilliant channel, brilliant information and knowledge sharing, brilliant production. Sub!
" you deserve it" make this your new slogan!!! (take your time, enjoy your cigar; you deserve it etc. etc!!)
Everyone deserves to enjoy themselves, we just choose to do it with a fine cigar.
Hear, hear! Maduro in the morning and Connecticut in the evening. Thank you Nick! It's all individual preference. I drink coffee with cream, so the nutty, creamy flavors of a Connecticut with Dominican tobaccoes are my morning fav. Love the sweet Maduro in the Perdomo 20th afternoons or evenings with a sweet bourbon or Canadian blended. Love the videos, almost as much as your cigars! 🙂
Thank you once again for a great video Mr Perdomo. I always feel like I'm sitting there with you smoking a delicious Perdomo cigar and we're talking cigars. Keep up the great work.
Very knowledgeable!
Thanks for your amazing advice sir.
The sungrown Lot 23 is fantastic all day long. Breakfast, lunch, or supper.
Awesome content.
Thank you
nice video; i can tell you put heart into making these videoes and doing it for knowledge spreading rather than trying to earn views for money
wow, I wish I could have 3 cigars a day, at the prices in Australia we're constantly getting shafted, one a week would be great.
Nick, awesome information. Your explanations are clear and concise. I enjoy Maduro cigars. How is it different from say a Connecticut?
Nick, love your cigars!
Nick love your videos, alway full of knowledge and expertise. Thank you!
Dear Nick... My name is Gerhard and I love watching your UA-cam videos and have been so impressed and inspired by your process of making cigars that 3 years ago I started planting my own seeds well not as perfect and big in production as you but, I'm trying so with that being said I have a wonderful Snomaster electrical humidore that you can set to the precise humidity that you require and I love it and it looks beautiful on my counter where it sits at but just 2 things that I thought could change and you are the perfect person to talk to. The thing is in the inside it Has beechwood shelves and the wood is too, how can I say, it is too light in colour so I want to know if will my cigars be damaged or affected if I use some kind of a dark teek oil on the wood and also the led light in the unit is to bright to what other light can i change it into that will not have a negative effect on the cigars? Please if you can advice I would be grateful. Thanks
Thank you for the lineup for smoking
Nick you are my Hero.......love the tips you give us on cigar smoking.....plz brother dont stop....you got a follower here......my dream is to smoke with you one day......just to learn and watch your skills......im in Tulsa Ok.......doing my thang.....Perdomo 10th Anniversary Champagne is all time favorite stick..but i love maduros too....with out a doubt....with a spot of Good Coffee....just makes my day.....your the coolest.......
I need that ashtray lol great video
Working on it man. There is a high demand.
I love watching these videos, so informative. Nick seems like such a cool guy, I bet he's great to sit and chat to with over a drink and a cigar :)
Why?
I smoke my cigars with my long time friend, over and nice pour of Bourbon. A good cigar or two really make our fishing trips even more enjoyable.
Fishing trips and cigars together like bourbon and cigars.
Thankyou Nick.......
If i had to chose only one company that I would be smoking cigars from, it would definitely be a Perdomo. No doubt! It may be not cheap (in Poland the prices of premium cigars are sick), but worth it anyway.
Watching this in the morning by my pool with a cuppa coffee and a natural. What’s your thoughts on retro hauling?
Dave important for me to taste the liguero or strength tobaccos in the filler.
Excellent video!
Thanks Russell

Thanks a lot for your advise @nick perdomo
Great info. What do you do with hlaf smoked cigars. I usually smoke mine all in one sitting, but not always. Thanks
Great Video!! Can you please do a video on Oral Hygiene and Cigar Smoking..what are the proper steps that should be followed after smoking a cigar.
Great suggestion James! We will definitely add that to the list, I personally think it's a great idea.
Floss, tongue scraper, brush, mouth wash. And in that order. Definitely works for me.
Hi, Nick. I love your cigars, just bought a box of the double aged maduro. In this video, which I know is 4 years old, I see a beautiful lighter. I've searched for one, with no luck. Any idea where I can find one? Thanks.
New to your channel, love it. I'm also a first time customer, I purchase a case of Fresco Churchill Maduro and looking forward to trying other Perdomos. Where can I purchase the lighter and ashtray you have in your videos? It's not on your website.
